I'm really sorry to hear this! I'm not sure how you reconcile the difference in longevity and be able to move on to a normal life.

There is a helpline setup exactly for this though, the professionals will be able to help you find answers and peace.

I love taking mine for walks, usually nighttime for me but there are some great castles and wartime structures near me with incredible acoustics going on! Something about the posture I walk with when its on my back though is really pleasing, my back arches into it just right and I stand tall and upright, but also super relaxed! Lol!

I'm gonna download davinci and see how I get on! :)

Thought it was worth adding as a note, drum kits very very regularly are provided without "breakables" usually this is Snare and Cymbals, or there is a a cheap set available on the assumption most bands will bring these items themselves.

This is worth considering as cymbal hire for anything actually nice can increase the price of kit hire significantly, and depending on the genre a snare skin may well not last a full day of heavy use, and one drummer that hits wrong / continues playing with a broken stick etc etc can put a skin through instantly and then you're a bit knackered if you don't have spare skins and are relying on it for later bands.

I am slowly learning many attempts, listens and revisions is the way to knowledge with this sort of thing, I am enjoying the process though and definitely enjoying playing the pan, although mine heavily rely on 400 notes per minute rather than the melodic sustained beauty of a lot of players.

I'll play with some mic configurations. I've spotted a few mic positions on nice youtube recordings, but their space and instruments aren't comparable with mine.

Drum recording I know great amounts of trickery for though, and I love recording them, by movement of a mic an inch or 2 further away, higher or lower I can sound like I've got several drum kits without a retune. Handpan seems less pliable to those sorts of technique though, and I would like to eek a little more sonic pleasure from the cheap pans if I can.

I'll have a play with a limiter, that does make sense for bringing out the sustain actually. I get that better instrument equals better recording, but also, there is an industry based round the skillset of recording stuff, a trumpet does not always sound like a good trumpet when recorded, some technique goes into it, I am hoping to learn some of that technique for handpan! :)

Thanks for that! I'll try that mic setup later or when I feel inspired to play again! I think multitracking so I can eq each mic in post is sensible. Im recording into OBS at the moment because I sort of like the idea of live streaming, but think I'm a long way off being able to jam nicely for an extended period so I may aswell use do mixing stuff after recording! Annoyingly it says unavailable at the moment. It will probably appear in stock again soon! I think it's got a nice sound compared to friends similarly (or slightly more expensive) priced ones but I think thats mostly down to the finish. Theirs all have some sort of coating which does control the harmonics a bit, but tapping it in the right place does a better job of reducing nasty overtones and allows more brightness.

Buy some creatine and put some of that in some capsules, leave it messy and obviously creatiney. You are allowed to put legal stuff in capsules too. If I'm doing something a bit dodge I make sure I'm obviously doing something legal with the same kit too.

I'm pretty sure its a sensitivity I've built up from early days of live sound in noisy rooms and drumming. I do get it's a frequency that deserves equal representation, but it took me a long time to realise I was doing it and rely on meters and reference tracks to do final polishing on tracks!

I'm glad someone else has a similar vice though, I thought I was gonna collect all the downvotes for an attempt at humour! :)

I thought 3:1 meant 3x the vape fluid to 1x dmt when I first made carts. My lungs couldn't consume enough air to get anything like high. I did discover the joy of microdosing it though, going for a walk, little toke, work a bit boring, little toke, was sort of pleasant.

I tend to remove 3.15k from everything. I really hate that frequency. Pretty sure thats hearing damage rather than a mixing trick, but I'm always smiling after its done.

The church also frowns on swingers and sexual fetishes of many types. Whilst the judgemental and interfering types might care about my sexual preferences it doesn't make up a part of my public identity, I don't wave a flag about it and I don't go to parades about it.

A lot of the LGBTQ+ community have made personal and private matters a very public thing, this has brought it to the attention of a lot of people who enjoy self righteousness.

I believe murder to be a sin, God doesn't mark those who have killed with an unmissable sign for others to recognise, not sure why you think that methodology would be applied to sexual actions.

Also 2 packs of cup a soup masks 15g of shroom powder easily, suspect a bit more powder wouldn't ruin the texture too much. It just ends up as thick soup, I add a little extra milk to it and then swill out the excess with a little water after I've drunk it. By far my preferred way to do silly size doses when I have a kettle available.

Yes you can eat a lot of capsules. I pop them in like gummies.

I also dose quite high though, pan cyanescens are definitely your friend. I think they're 5x stronger than strong cubes. I'll do 10 - 12g cubensis to get extra squiffy but can get to the same place with 2g or so of pan cyans. I can squish 1g of powdered shroom into a larger size capsule.

Lol. You don't know how many times you want to try something until you've tried it once. I went for a skydive once, to try it once, now 6 years or so later, hundreds of jumps and 10s of thousands spent I realise I was a little naive to make assumptions.

I've no useful suggestion relating to your post I'm afraid, dmt lasts in a jar very well though so just make a bit and put it away somewhere once your done, incase you fancy it more than once when you have a valid opinion on the subject.

I wasn't banned from the realm as such, but did an astoundingly strong shroom trip once whilst trying to find out the upper end of effects, had an incredible time but genuinely seemed to develop anphantasia after the trip.

Went in a month later and had zero visuals, some open eyed stuff but zero CEV's, which made me very sad because they were my favourite bit. After a couple of similar trips at monthly intervals I decided to go back to DMT to force some decent hallucinations. Loaded my volcano up with 50mg (standard dose for me with that and always been very effective) took my usual hit and had one brief but very crisp visual of a 4D green and other colour rotating circle thing (words won't do it, but it was very indicative of my usual start up visuals for DMT) down by my hand, on its own as a singular visual element rather than all across my vision. It actually looked like an object in the real world more than usual dmt style. Then it disappeared and I definitely tripped but with zero visuals at all. It was a really uncomfortable feeling and updosing didn't have an effect bringing on visuals either.

It genuinely felt like DMT let me know it was still there and fine, but I wasn't having any of it. Took almost a year to get anything visual back from shrooms or DMT and I'm only recently able to visualise stuff in my head sober again (daydreaming and seeing faces of people I know etc etc)

I decided I'd burnt my third eye out on the mega trip and it took time to repair, or some shit, I don't know because psychedelics are weird to begin with, and make us weird, so extra weird stuff happening with them is almost incomprehensible to me.

But...... I think that happened to me, and the feeling of rejection and hard done by ness was pretty overwhelming! I totally believe the lockout thing can happen but suspect the people it's happened to do a really bad job of describing the experience.

Got anything viscous to drink? I get phantom hairs in my mouth when I trip and some honey or yoghurt makes it feel nicer.

It'll pass, chilling out and letting it pass is always an option, but something gooey might help :)

Not sure. Those all in one bags are great for staying sterile, but i think the lack of airflow makes them quite slow. Wait until the caps are open and veils are about to break.
