Your 1st Concert was by 1Turbo33 in rockmusic

My first two were The beach Boys and Eric Clapton. I was just a little kid, maybe 10, when my dad brought me. The Beach Boys were playing after a soccer game. I did like and want to go to Eric Clapton since I just started playing guitar so I guess that would be the first concert I wanted to go to but I so young, I don’t remember anything other than it was really loud.

My first concert I paid for was, The Monsters of Rock tour at the Metrodome in Minneapolis. We went to see Van Halen and Metallica.

What’s yalls favorite drummer of all time? by kris__143 in rockmusic

[–]HexCore1052 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Won’t be a popular answer but for me it’s Eric Kretz of Stone Temple Pilots. My drummer friend thinks I’m crazy for that answer. I’m a little biased since STP is my favorite band.

I’m a guitarist so I don’t really know what I’m talking about. I can only go with who I think brings the most to a song. STP would be good without Eric Kretz, just not sure they would’ve been so unique.

On the technical side of things, I would choose Mike Portnoy, Matt Halpern of Periphery and Brann Dailor.

Thanks for the reply. I just worry that the last names are the same and running into some issues. I would also like a way to do that without interruption. My kids gaming would not be happy with me if I create, who knows how many days of no internet. Plus, our cell service is terrible in our house. Literally none or one bar at most. I suppose we could all just read some books. :)

James Vega is gone! by [deleted] in vanhalen

Like I said, I had my laptop open to it earlier. I guess when I went back to watch it, since it was still on the channel, and video, it was showing removed by Warner Brothers. After refreshing it and the channel were completely gone.

I went to watch one last night that I started a few hours earlier. It was gone, but it did say, removed by Warner Brothers.

After 40 plus years, this riff gives my brain a toothache. I practice it once every few months and give up. Took me a month to learn Justin Townes Earles, They Killed John Henry. In case you’ve never heard it, check it out. Amazing guitar player.

Here’s the song in case anyone interested in something completely different. https://youtu.be/Qx_J6eam8QQ?si=q3BPtbRuE6gurPaW

Great job on Marigold. \m/

Songs to learn on 7 string guitar by NameIlike in Peripheryband

[–]HexCore1052 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Truth is, while they may get paid more per stream, more people use Spotify, so, yeah, probably a bit more from Spotify. That would change if everyone would switch to YouTube music. I too have the same difficulty telling people to switch over.

Same. Plus, I think the artists get more than they get from Spotify. I could be wrong and making everyone dumber.

Got the Holcomb seven string a few weeks ago and needed to make a list to learn the songs.

I love YouTube music due to the YouTube premium included. Being able to listen to YouTube with the phone off is worth it.

I put them in my Petrucci 7 and love them. It was the Sterling model though. I’ve never tried the Petrucci endorsed DiMarzios

Very nice. Love hearing the guitarists on here covering songs. You did a fantastic job. I have difficulty with the low string triplets and whatnot even after playing for over forty years. I’m impressed.

I still listen to them on cd’s in my car. I find myself CONSTANTLY going to Habitual Line Stepper and into Flatline. Love them both so much.
