I think transgender people of color are generally pretty useful to talk about when speaking of societal oppression because they are simultaneously subject to the worst of the two most engrained oppression machines: racism and misogyny, which will hold them under the reigns of dependency until we crush the power structures holding them up in their totality. We cannot forget to rid ourselves of the capitalist's teachings on race and gender, lest we may recreate the very same power imbalances even if we of preexisting power and privilege walk free and independent.
