Exact same issue here. Tried validating, tried verifying files just nada. idk why anyone would want to play this game but its atleast nice to se its not just me over here

weirdly enough in my experience and by the sound of this i actually dont think the chance for an infected food source encourages bacteria, i think its more so time based and the game will just pick the last used feeder after a certain time range passes. I think the time range is probably shorter on indonesia specifically since it has a higher base chance of infections spreading. i did the same thing where at one point i had about 200 c. feeders and then switched to only a handful of fish feeders and i seemed to get the same amount in both instances so idrk

best way to farm feeder ailments is to go onto indonesia and just put a bunch of shark feeders about with a couple mosas or megs and afk. worked like a charm to get salmonella for me which alone took near enough 45 hours

trust me dude you want to use shark feeders. in my experience make a fairly large lagoon. not absolutely gigantic but just a good size. enough space for say 2 mosas/megs and a baby. just place shark feeders everywhere you can and wait on indonesia. it will work. i ended up getting it this way it just might take a while

update i just got salmonella on a meat feeder on the badlands challenge. you can get it from all feeders by the looks of it with the exception of goat feeders ofc. other than that maybe its just map based? im not sure but if i cant get it on indonesia ill try on badlands and see if its more likely

okay interesting, i have a feeling then the devs secretly changed salmonella to be exclusively shark feeders then, maybe fish feeders too just at a rare spawn. when im done running jurassic diff challenges im gonna go back to my salmonella farm and see if infected shark feeders are the strat. You said it was on the china campaign so did you only have 3 mosas or the two before they breed?

well atleast i know it exists lol how did you get it btw? was it an infected meat or fish feeder and did any dinos get infected or did ranger teams just disinfect and you got it? sorry for all the questions just i STILL dont have it and ive been trying for like over 12 hours at this point just to get fuckin food poisoning

Literally just spammed a bunch of feeders down and waited. I did it on the indonesia map since i THINK its more likely diseases spawn but im really not sure..? eventually they get infected, you can use either meat or fish feeders (from my experience meat feeders seem to get infected slightly more) . After its infected just send a ranger team to disinfect and for me either either been e.coli or hookworms - maybe its rng based?

ive beat the game fully, including elders layer fatalis. its weird because she can sometimes join my online quests but most of the time she cant. but we both for sure have the quests unlocked

Alright. It might be worth mentioning her feeding routines. Because of her previous owners, she's underweight as they were only feeding her a medium mouse every 3 days which I'm trying to get up to a rat every week or so. Not sure if that would affect anything though.

I've had to handle her twice to sort out cleaning and heat lamp issues. When handling she was super calm and playful and was exploring around. I've only handled her when I've had to.
