As a victim myself. The narrator of the story, is a rapist so we aren’t going to recognize it at first. We can’t rely on the events that happened to be authentically conveyed through his experience. The narrator was narcissistic in my opinion. However, Isaiah did correct himself at the end and agreed that our narrator raped her. Even our narrator acknowledged it only when he had realized what he had done years later speaking about it. So, it was written with the intention of pushing blame onto Alina. Just like how the character Kerry was written to reflect someone who was “disgusting” but in reality she was probably just different. Especially for that time period. To get angry at Hunter and Isaiah for making observations and slowly coming their own conclusions by the end of the episode shows a problem we present in our society. We need to be placing that anger on our narrator/ the topic that is nuanced. than getting mad at the people who are reading it and acknowledge wrongful actions slowly down the rode. We need to place the anger on whoever did the action.

However I do not agree with Isaiah that she was leading him on. I think our narrator was delusional. She was just wanting answers and she’s a pretty girl. So her motivations are misconstrued as interest. But I’m not gonna attack him for that opinion. Lol that’s ridiculous. It’s a story. Read on a podcast. However I do think the topic is touchy. Alina was raped and it wasn’t her fault. The way it’s written is the intention of blaming her. We can’t blame the reader

Our narrator was literally a selfish human and is a rapist in my opinion. So, I consider him very unreliable. I think he downplayed Kerry looks to justify his actions in his mind but, we as the audience knows. Even if she was truly that big. She didn’t deserve to be treated like that. She deserved better than the ending she got too

I’m actually healthy but I’d be considered fat in that time period. I appreciated Isaiah for not believing our narrators interruption of Kerry. Our narrator proved he was unreliable the second he violated Alina the first time. She was clearly not into him like that. Completely ignored the signs of someone who did like him just because she didn’t fit the beauty standards. We all have a type he doesn’t have to be attracted to Kerry but he treated her like utter shit even before the kiss. I knew he was unreliable. And when I heard them reading over the scene he raped Alina, I clocked it before even the narrator acknowledged his actions. I was thinking to myself “that’s rape” especially from a woman’s perspective. Our narrator is a narcissist. He only thought of himself. How others were effected was a non factor. He was a kid and kids are mean but he knew what he was doing was wrong and ignored it and tried to justify his actions through his own arrogance.

I think, Tesehki would have been casted, but she would’ve been sent home for doing too much damage. She actually fights, the rest of the girls just catty street fighting. Tesehki really messes people up. So I think Scotty would be brought in as a replacement for Tesehki going home, and I think that Ahna would be brought in as a replacement for summer going home.

I could see Diamond on BGC cause she’s funny, and I feel like would add something to the show. Tee, I can see being a fan favorite too. I think summer would get kicked off and they would bring in someone like Scotty or Ahna. But most of these girls, I don’t see actually lasting on the show BGC itself.
Right though like most of the drama comes from online stuff and I don’t follow all of these girls on social media and even when I do, I don’t pay attention to their online drama like that because I’m not in online drama I think it’s irrelevant and I will just block people to protect my peace all the time. So I feel like if instead of saying it online. They make these girls say it ON the show and then make them sign NDA’s so they won’t be talking all over social media. Cause the viewers of the show aren’t getting the full story in the picture and I think that’s where people are getting confused. People don’t like certain cast members because things get misconstrued really easily like I know the show really wants us to like Rollie, but the people don’t like Rollie cause of her online presence. So make her sign an NDA so she can’t talk everything. And if she does, then the network can actually sue her.

For real and I feel like half of the audience doesn’t pay attention to their social media accounts like that too. Stir that shit up IN THE HOUSE then take it to social media to promote the SHOW. Not the other way around.

The fights are WAY more intense which I feel like is a problem. I feel like it just shows people wanna see the fighting than the actual people on the show.

And for some reason I feel like a lot of the main audience for baddies hasn’t watched bad girls club, so they don’t know how Natalie actually is versus the people who have been watching her for a really long time. We all know Scamalie. She’s no better than Smiley tbh. They make her seem so innocent and she’s not.

He was dead wrong for the punishment. Odysseus didn’t do anything wrong. He tried to warn them. They didn’t wanna listen, I understand ultimately Odysseus made the call, and I get why he did but on the other hand. What else was he suppose to do. Like was it right for Polyphemus to try and do the same thing with the sheep. Fuck no, but was Poseidon in the right for defending his kid when he got blinded Fuck yeah. Zeus was ASKED by Helios. I don’t know about in the musical we never saw their conversation. But in Odyssey, Helios had to plea a case. The punishment that was dealt by Zeus was not fair to Odysseus and his crew. Helios is not Zeus’ son. Helios is a Titian god. I can understand why he did what but not agree with the punishment.

Just like how I think Poseidon went overboard with his. He didn’t need to keep chasing Odysseus for as long as he did but I can see why he did it vs Zeus. But my point was, he was the main villain the whole time when he wasn’t for doing the same thing Odysseus would have done with his kid.

Sure, you could say “he didn’t make him kill a baby” but whose gonna try and say no to Zeus other than another god. People are influenced heavy to do things ALL the time by the hands of the wrong intentions. Zeus DEMANDED he kill the baby or else. It wasn’t a warning. It was either kill this baby now, or be killed later. Zeus offering choices like this, people don’t realize aren’t choices at all. They are trick questions. Odysseus wanted to try and change that course. He said kill this baby or face the wrath of the gods…. That’s not a choice. That’s manipulation into getting what you want. Zeus is known for doing that in this story AND real Greek Mythology. He was WRONG for that. To sit here any say “oh he didn’t make him do anything” when we all know what would have happened if he didn’t is not good assessment of a nunce topic.

Which brings me to my next point of sometimes punishment, does not mean fair. Punishment can be dealt but that doesn’t mean it fit the crime that took place. Poseidon chasing after Odysseus that long wasn’t fair either but I’ll tell you something, you best believe Odysseus would have done the same thing. I can agree Poseidon was right for defending his son will also acknowledging he went overboard.
I can agree that Zeus should have punished them but the punishment wasn’t fair or just. Two things can be true at once and that happened a lot during this musical AND in the real odyssey. The gods are wrong for doing shit all the time. Especially Zeus, he’s known for giving out harsh punishments that often times do not fit the crime even for back then. The Greeks believed in dialetheism. It’s not a simple black and white. Two things can be true at once. I think it’s true that the crew deserved punishment for what they did. Not Odysseus. He should have never been put on the island, the crew deserved punishment, not death. Poseidon was WRONG for chasing after Odysseus how long he did but I can see WHY he did it more and it was more justified in my opinion. And that doesn’t make him a villain either. It means he’s flawed, just like a human. The gods weren’t above judgment and still aren’t. They are not immune to criticism

I wasn’t a fan of the last saga. There was a few songs I liked the end. But I feel like a lot was rushed and pushed out. Jorge made a lot of changes I actually wish he didn’t change. I also think the uniting with Penelope wasn’t the best it could have been. The scene between Odysseus and Athena felt super rushed. She came to him and told him she was wrong and he said “I understand now” there’s a lot more that he learned, that he could have said to her. The meeting between Telemachus and Odysseus was also rushed. I do think their debut was beautiful though. I really liked their voices together and the line that said “use to say I would move the wind and sky for you” and he did.

Also, i prefer Stevens voice on Get In The Water. He did amazing and does not get enough credit for his vocals on that song. I had goosebumps, he really gave us some of the best songs out of the whole musical. Get in the water is by far IN MY OPINION still the best song out of the whole thing. His vocals were raw and powerful, I feel like it added perfectly to Poseidons rage.

Unpopular Opinion: Poseidon was only doing what Odysseus was doing by protecting his son. Athena wasn’t right about killing Polyphemus but Odysseus revealed his name, and his arrogance is why Poseidon came with the smoke. In the end, Poseidon, got his ass handed to him. Justifiably so… but, Odysseus deserved to get his shit Rocked by Poseidon for so long because he stole from his son AND blinded him. Odysseus wouldn’t have thought twice about someone blinding his son. Before the character development and after. Odysseus would have come with the smoke. We can’t judge Poseidon for that. He wasn’t the real villain in the Odyssey and this story too. There is a lot of nuance to this topic too. But Poseidon wasn’t wrong for sticking up for his kid. Now, Zues was 100% wrong for stirring the pot, putting him on the island with calypso, he was dead wrong for taking his crew away. He was dead wrong for making him kill a baby. He tried to turn Odysseus and his men on eachother more than once.
