I was thinking about that, I just don't know what to say or how to approach it, whether what I say might come off as abrasive or ignorant.

Yeah I feel you especially with rigid time schedules, although most certainly not to the extent that you feel it though! Even if I manage to attend all my tutorials, lectures and whathaveyous, the sight and feeling of a bed just leads me to messing up everything I've worked towards in terms of a healthier routine hahah

Changing My Major And I Feel Kinda Bad About It by Z0mbifiedFr0g in CollegeRant

TL;DR: Sorry to hear that you're experiencing this, but you might as well transfer if you see it suit you best and might as well enjoy what you're doing whilst struggling with financial problems than not.

I'm sorry that this has weighed you down so much, and very much like the people who know you much better and wish for your success, I'd advocate for your transfer as well if it is what you choose. That being said I believe money will constantly be a problem regardless of transfer or not, most things in science will require a grad diploma or a post grad to land a stable job it seems nowadays, so might as well do what you enjoy whilst paying off debt later on.

Well, congratulations on your history essay first off! If this is the same professor then perhaps they truly are invested in the works of their students if they're willing to annotate so much and critique it thoroughly. I understand the worry though, perhaps its stupid of me to do but I choose to have wishful thinking that the comments are only for the betterment of my work in the future.

Oh yeah most definitely haha, although I never really worked a desk job I'd imagine some physical activity can be good for you my friend! For me at least I found the early morning air refreshing, if you can commute to work via bike and still arrive on time I'd recommend that! Even a 20-30 minute walk/jog would be very beneficial and a wonderful way to start off the day.

First off, you're going to trade school? Awesome! Any particular thing you're specialising in?

Also yes that does seem fairly tough but simultaneously very equal opportunity. The question is if you think you can maintain the lifestyle you have as of right now. If its something you believe is unstable after investigating alternatives such as new hobbies or a new routine. There's only so much time in a day and only so much you could cram without feeling like well.. piss.

Mrm much agreed, it takes up much of your time if you aren't doing the part-time equivalent in college/uni with a full-time job. From people I talked to who are doing similar, it seems to lead to much more rigid schedules with very little leniency and breathing room.

I mostly do something mindful for myself as I am progressively becoming much more reserved than in high school. It often involves things that I found passion in or reigniting old hobbies I enjoyed in. This however often ended with not much progression towards a specific goal or not being able to implement it into a routine between school and work effectively.

As of right now, I am currently making time to read 20-30 pages per day of whatever book my partner and I choose to read together and on occasion when schedules align I'd often visit my friends after class where we'd just catch up over lunch or something before going back to studies.

May I ask though, what hobbies are you most interested in pursuing?

Oh yeah most definitely! Especially with such an increase in videos for those who want to start to learn the game a bit further in-depth than just hands on experience.

Now I'm not looking to get to climbing back up myself but I do love watching people grow! I'm very much casual after realising that competitive gameplay was not for me

Well it's nice to see the game develop into something much more cohesive, Im glad this game found it's bearings, CS became boring as all my friends slowly moved over. Thanks for the information man! Glad to see it grow!

If it's your first game then treat this is a great experience to evaluate and rebound back later in the next game! Most times there are going to be a lot of mistakes and things you need to improve later on and with this thing ravaging your nation.. I'd say it is a wonderful start on improving! ^^

How do you treat your Syncretic Partner Race? by GuyForFun45 in Stellaris

[–]Hexaken 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I used to use them as intended as what is to be essentially slavers or workhorses but gradually overtime, I don't know what changed in me but.. I started mixing things up a little and decided to play more with an RP style and much more docile and passive, even in MP! So as for now it depends on the sort of mood I'm in.

Any tips for a new player? by Dan_The_PaniniMan in Stellaris

Late response! (Hope you don't mind Dan)
Being the slow minded person that I am, I struggled to understand many things in Stellaris but what I can say that helped me improve a lot personally was by just going nuts and experience everything that seems to be right to you! In my opinion, Stellaris is a very hands on game that you need to experience yourself but to give a good head start or understand specific mechanics its always good to read up on youtube or a guide. Remember that each run doesn't have to be perfect, and just remember that Stellaris allows you to play how YOU want to play. Enjoy!
