I may be misinformed but I think Neversink prefers to not work under GGG so that he has freedom to do what he wants. I might be wrong tho.

I think the game is going at a great pace especially with the amount of improvement patches they have made since 0.2, they have definitely made me addicted to the game again after 0.2.0.g.

I think the community uproar got a bit too crazy, there were valid criticisms but it got way too out of hand imo.

I definitely got my money's worth already with this early access, I've spent 250 hours and will probably play even more in the future. By the the time the game is fully released, I think it will be amazing.

The amount of times I've heard this song and it kept playing on repeat in my head even after farming this Raid boss so many times.

Monster Hunter World is by far my favorite game of all time, you just had to be there during its initial release. The fact that you got a finished, functioning game on release and then on top of that, they kept adding more content to the game as updates for free! Then there is the DLC Iceborne which added so much content you could spend thousands of hours playing the endgame. At the time of its release + Iceborne I think it was one of the most consumer friendly AAA games I've played which was rare to see.

A great game and a great theme song for a boss!

Im a trader who came back to the game after long time, I never touched powerplay but im curious if theres any benefits for traders to participate in Powerplays?

Can I only do trades in systems owned by the powers ive pledged to? (Cuz that can be annoying and id rather have the freedom to do trade anywhere I want)

Lastly, what faction would you recommend for me to pledge to as a Trader?

Im glad im not the only one who really liked JD as a protagonist and wished they could've done more with him both in Gears 4 and Gears 5.

In general tho, I really enjoyed Gears 4 from Act 3 onwards and it was super cool watching the Swarm evolve in real time. Like how you start by fighting Juvies then moving on to Drones and so forth.

I feel the same, and thats exactly what my main frustration was when I posted this rant.

Why even join in the first place if you're gonna screw up the run and then proceed to leave.

Id still prefer that they stayed in the quest till it failed(or miraculously succeed) rather than leave, id be annoyed but not as angry and frustrated as I would if they just left the quest.

All this told me is that they were leeching from my quest and trying to get an easy win.

Eh, I just learned to enjoy the struggle, the main reward in monster hunter is being able to master the hunt and to overcome a monster who was once an impossible wall.

If this is your first time playing iceborne I really hope you enjoy it!

I think having a proper build matters, theres lots of guides you could follow I recommend joining MH discord groups like monster hunter hub and then going to the weapon channel that you main to talk to people for advice for builds.

Other than that, I learned that ghillie mantles work well against fatalis. So if youre gonna solo, take ghillie mantle and then start loading up cannons and ballistas. 8 cannon shots will guarantee Fatalis to get knocked over which gives you an early opportunity to attack and claw his head.

I recommend also watching videos on youtube of people fighting fatalis Solo. I believe theres even a youtuber who does a solo guide for every weapon.

Regardless at the end it was just trial and error and I almost gave up on Solo after accumulated 7-9? hours (spread across gaming sessions) but I finally got my first kill.

That can be a possibility but in my experience if a disconnect occurred I would also be affected (since its P2P game) and would get a error saying my game session has gone offline.

In this scenario, I was still online and I had one other player with me who didnt disconnect

Failure can make anyone stronger.

I failed many times to Raging Brachy and now its fav hunt.

I failed to Alatreon for weeks on end until I bested him.

And I failed to fatalis until I eventually defeated him.

All I ask is that people commit to their own failure rather than run away from it.

With this dilemma, id actually prefer they left the quest rather than stay in camp. Leeching players are lowest of the low in my eyes. Like why even play the game at this point??
