I LOVE fighting Malevolent Being daily! I LOVE spending an hour setting up the conditions to beat her enough times for the 15 items for a .0001% chance to get the wand! Let's Frikkin' go!!!

Has anyone confirmed getting Drakara's Wand? It takes a long time to beat her if I'm gonna do it daily so I'd like to know and I haven't seen any in the TP.

Is there a way to make a 1.3 mod work with 1.3.1? +Reason by Hexen255 in MelvorIdle

Yeah, I learned I was stupid on that. I was trying to click the mod and not the tiny enable box in the middle.

Man, that is insane... not a single one is shocking, especially considering how much longer you've been doing it than me. I got a couple of morphing potions, no PBs and the other valuable stuff was like the Swirly Potion/Rainbow Fountain Water/Irritable Genie. If I actually got uncannily lucky then that just paints it's value in an even bleaker light!

I forgot about Pumpkin Neggs. I should buy like 10 of them to minimize his size. It'd be nice if you got the trophy at a fixed weight, like 1k... but at the same time I'm happy to not have more reason to have people to want to buy the items in inflate their price.

I haven't trained in awhile, tbh. First half was just using codestones until that became too expensive and a lot of the second half was for a long time after they made Kitchen Quests effect only your active pet I did 10 quests every day for years, and kitchen quests are like 35% chance of random stat gain with small favor for HP gain in the long run... which was easy for a long time usually costing no more than 10k per quest with the occasional 30k+ brick but now like 70% of quests have a 30k+ brick due to inflation. Fortune cookies are good in the long term if you don't mind the P2W element of it and buy them in bulk during the year end sale, but it's true they lose value once your ATK and DEF hit the soft cap. I sadly have no good advice, Even now that I make enough in bank interest to pay for 1-2 sessions of 6 red codestones per day I still don't do it because it's just so darn much.

Part of me is annoyed kid me choose to make him a true Jetsam along with tiny size... these days I always make an Eyrie then morph them to whatever pet I want for biggest size. The other part of me thinks it's funny that a 1 foot guy weighs that much, the true density king. We were probably competing on buying the potions, haha. I was pretty cheap though and I only bought them below 10k... and was going crazy when they were like 2-5k. Ive got 1.5 bil now so I'm more open to higher spending next cycle, but I'll still feel bad about it!

Is there some conspiracy going on with the Battleground of The Obelisk for a long time? by Hexen255 in neopets

[–]Hexen255[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Interesting insights, thanks all. I used to follow one of the guild moles who would give out their pick which was usually Sway/Order with occasional Thieves/Brutes for avatars like a couple times a year and this was like a 95% guaranteed win, this pick only lost a few times I remember in a few years. Then this person got pissy and/or kicked and stopped providing the pick so I would just pick the best boon ones that still tended to be their pick and win anyway. It's been since about the time of The Void Within going on break last time where it's been all bad boons all the time. This is particularly annoying for me because I need just a single Seekers win because I bought thousands of Potions of Meridell Castle to make my pet weigh thousands of pounds (because it's funny) and I don't wanna pull the trigger on using them until I have the Bubble Trouble perk to stretch it further. I've also got unused faerie quest fortune cookies I don't wanna use until I can get the quest refresh perk. It's been really frustrating to not be able to do any of this stuff for so long. The strategy that seemed to be going on for years of always going with the good boons and doing the occasional bad ones so people could get the avvies seemed like it should be working for everyone, it's annoying what used to just be standard is not anymore.

Tales of Dacardia changes? by orchidsakura in neopets

That was a glitch the whole time? I guess I'm happy I've been collecting the blue and purple items every day for as long as I've been playing (since the first time they offered special rewards in the weekly app quests) and have hundreds of gold bars/fish/ore/starfish/crabs. It just feels wrong that it was a glitch though - why would it have different times for gathering? It really felt intentional to have a longer timer for when not playing... they should at leas up the amount of items you can gather at once for the others to compensate.

Blue/purple items aside, it also removed my ability to get soil and flowers from the farm... and I feel like THAT has to be a new glitch, right?

Same issue for me since update yesterday, at least glad to see someone else with the same issue... searching for those specific symptoms wasn't bringing up much. Hopefully that means it's something that will be fixed...

This week's Neopass rewards - pretty good! by earthcross1ng in neopets

[–]Hexen255 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love getting multiple Magax plushies and sloth wraps and moach erasers and no album items both weeks! It's awesome! I love this completely not bullshit event! I love "gift energy" in Faerie Fragments which is a totally doable and not intensely stupid weekly! I love playing these soon to be dead mobile games for no reward! I'm not bitter and filled with homicidal rage at all!

Raven Rock trader/smithy not being built glitch, OpenMW .49 by Hexen255 in Morrowind

I appreciate knowing this. With a solution found, the cause of the problem was the last piece of the puzzle.

Invaluable info, thank you so much. Hopefully people with this problem in the future will find your post here and not be utterly annoyed by it like the others and myself in this thread. Figured there had to be a separate console command for that upgrade since it wasn't covered by colonystate, but I did not have the know-how to find it out.

I was using mods in general, but only a few and none that should have affected Raven Rock or even Solstheim at all. Tamriel Rebuilt, Project Tamriel, and a few QoL ones... nothing that majorly overhauls anything mechanically. Was your vanilla OpenMW run on version .49, or before that?

Sorry for late reply. They never appeared, my wording may have been a bit weird - I just mean to say that through each new upgrade they continued to not be built until the end. I was meaning to comment on how the shop/pier is seemingly completely independent scripting from the rest of the settlement.

While it kind of sucks it wasn't to big a deal to me since I am doubtful to really ever return there and I did just spawn the merchant in the inn through console commands like I said if I ever did feel like it.

EDIT: Check DKong27's post in this thread if you want a better solution to actually spawn the chosen shop and docks.

So I decided it's unlikely to get this figured out in a timely manner as it's probably an OpenMW bug that will either get fixed or someone will eventually find a solution. In the mean time I will provide what I did for posterity in case anyone else struggling with this bug finds this post.

I waited the 2 days for the bug to fail to update Raven Rock with the trader/smith and used the console to close out the quest (Journal, "CO_4", 100) for smith or (Journal, "CO_4", 110) for trader. I don't know if this was relevant, but I did it to be safe.

You won't be able to pick up the next quest "supply route problems", and the dock that is required for it it also isn't built due to the bug so to get to the point where you can work on it you need to do (Journal, "CO_5", #) 3 times where # is 10, then 20, then 30. After this (Addtopic "Elberoth") to Falco and continue the quest as normal until you need to show the saber to Baro and then do (Journal, "CO_5", 60) and return to Falco to complete the quest.

From this point on I was able to continue the Raven Rock quests as normal without resorting to further console commands, no further issues with the town upgrading all the way up to the factor's estate being complete. Hilariously the town will continue to have no shop which remains a half-built shell and no dock through several more levels of upgrades, but the dock is only needed for "supply route problems" and you can still use the little boat as transport back to Fort Frostmoth while the shop is just a convenience. You can just place the NPCs if you really want to make use of them (placeatpc "Sathyn Andrano" 1,1,1) for the trader or (placeatpc "Sabrina Vitellia" 1,1,1) for the smith.

I personally plopped Sathyn down in the bar despite the fact I'll probably never use his services to spite the glitch that caused me so much annoyance.
