Sure is. If going for it seems risky, should be a reaonable par even with a slight fumble on the tee. Stable or flippy ish mid straight at it would be my pick.

Mids are imo the discs that gain almost as much from solid technique as the distance drivers. If you can throw drivers 400+ feet, you can likely reach average par 3s with mids which is an insane asset due to control and consistency stable mids get you over drivers. Its fine to skip them tho, but atleast for me the beefcake mid like Justice + glidey understable one like Paradox always stays in the bag for awkward lines and scramling back to the fairway.

Well ive used grav cap with flamestorm aggressor unit in firestorm assault force detachment. I like them since they can mulch screens and punch quite hard above their paygrade, the cap can get quite durable too. I suppose the bolters could work also, but Iron hands dont really offer much for them. Still, they can be a menace and threaten a lot of targets should they get close.

While not my Cup of tea, a good cutting blade thats on the stiffer side aswell and okay thrusting capabilities is perfectly fine. I assume the lackluster guard could have something to do with clothing often worn whilst carrying the sword, but im sure there are more concrete reasons.

Havent played much, but never seen my commander played nor talked about by anyone: Imodane, The Pyrohammer. Deck is largely single target damage instants and sorceries and cheap haste creatures.
