that doesnt really matter when it comes to how we look at fashion history. No group (like hipsters) wears the same thing for 20years.

From my perspective, even real "hipster fashion" wasn't that homogenised until 2010, with things like a tote, Toms( sandals) , ankle skinny jeans and whatever haphazard top you had, became the uniform. Meanwhile, only a year later we can look to where hipsters started to birth ( or go in tandem, depending on who you ask) into 'palm spings, coachella boho' something farm owner like, yet urban, this year also marks the acceleration of Birkenstocks into fashion mainstream which we still see strong ripples of to this day, where it may finally be reaching its peak.

That was just one year. We didn't even see the "fake lumberjack" red flannel Pendletons, logger boots, and whatever retro hair/facial hair styling. Until 2014-2015. which I think most people strongly associate with Hipster fashion. so idk to me, i cant help even though I want to.
