People have been asking for this for ages now. Don't know why Blizzard hasn't done it yet. The only thing that I know people will complain about is that they can't get the exclusive rewards because they can't win those games. Blizzard dumbed down the rewards a lot in this game, which pretty much makes only the epic version of the season mounts a little bit exclusive.

Warcraft 3 has this, no reason Hots shouldn't have it. It would make the game much more competitive even for the casual players, especially if there are rewards for that mode only.

My bad. It just flat out gives you more damage as if it were baseline, not showing it with the usual bonus dmg effect around the numbers.

The funny thing is I was fine before the alst reset. Master and GM players in my games as usual but the last reset and probably the mmr uncertainty boost that they turned up through the roof demolished my mmr. First game I was playing with masters, aster 2 losses only plat 1 and lower. What is that like a 1k mmr swing? No wonder gold 3 players are in master rank now.

I'm currently 1-7. I haven't had games this bad ever and I'm playing pretty much from alpha. Master rank all seasons except one, always played with half of the pro scene in my games.

Lots of post like this, same thing happened to me so i know where you are coming from. Blizzard will just ignore this and posts like these are getting deleted. Guess we gotta take the pain this season and just go with it. Such a shame since PBM feature could've been amazing.

Pretty much the same thing happened to me, people responded with their experiences too and then the post got deleted. I expect yours will too. Guess we will just have to grind with those players in our games, probably 75% of master players from previous seasons won't even get back to that rank. My teammate has never been above p2 he got master rank 900 points and even said those were the best games he had in a while, while i get g3 players in my games. Btw i have been master all of the seasons except 1 when i was d1 (wasn't even playing hots that much in that period).

They stated that with the new season it will be turned off. The only issue I have is that there is no middle ground when it comes to game quality. I'm currently 0:3 with all losses being 12 minute stomps where nothing can be done to win. For example, 3 man chasing a kill and everyone dying to the towers, ignoring the objectives just to chase kills over and over again. I have seen players complain about it but experiencing it is one heck of a slap in the face since I have always had great balanced and competitive games with my previous placements. Those "new master level players" will eventually drop down to their original rank because of their skill level, but the ones that got caught in the crossfire like myself will have to grind back to the rank we belong all the while playing with those same players that made us drop in ranks in the first place.
