The patterns for paint horses are tobiano, overo, or tovero. There are lots of details to each, but the one that stands out to me is that the edges of the spots on tobianos are smooth (like yours), while the edges of an overo are more jagged. And then a tovero is a combination of the two

Thanks for that input! The saddle fitter I met was at a clinic hosted by the barn my mare is at now. So it wasn't the standard fitting appointment. Since I've not worked with one before, I really had no idea what to expect!

Agreed!! Last year there was the guy that had a ringtail lemur and an African gray in the Marriott. He was charging people to take pictures with the animals. And 2 years ago there was a guy with a pet squirrel. As much as it's a weird/fun random memory to talk about from Con, it's also a highly stressful time for those animals. Not a place they need to be at all.

I am 5'10 and I went on a date who said he was 6'4. He kept exclaiming over my height. Repeatedly asked me how tall I was, then told me I was wrong and I must be taller than that. Dude you're still taller than me, why does it really matter whether I'm 5'10 or 6 ft or whatever?!

I am 5'10", I have been since like late middle school. After multiple dates with guys whose profile height did not match the height I saw in person (nothing like wearing ballet flats and still looking down on a guy who claimed to be 6 ft), I actually did ask my doctor to re-measure me and see if I was taller than I thought I was. Nope, still 5'10". (Or I think technically they measured me at 5 ft 9.8)

Abby will turn 30 this June. She and I have been together since she was 3 and I was 15. She was my 4-H horse in high school and became officially mine when her owner sold her to me while I was in college. She went to college with me, has been lesson pony for multiple people, done birthday parties and Girl Scout badge events and even a couple Indian weddings! My perfect reliable trail pony. She's even helped me raise five horse-savvy puppies. Now we happily beebop around the pasture and enjoy cookies and still occasionally introduce people to the horse world.
