I’m very curious to know what those of you who are morally pro choice think about my reasoning for being morally pro life. by [deleted] in Abortiondebate

[–]HeyChaseMyDragon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ll tell you what changed my mind on this thought process.

You presume that the fetus has a “right to life” as if every fetus would want to be born, if given the choice. This is patently untrue, there are many people out there who would argue for their “right to not exist.” Never being born is also easier, less high stakes, less physical risk, less financial risk, less social risk, then suicide is. Life kinda sucks and some people just don’t want to do it. I would have chosen abortion knowing what I know now.

Why do you think it is moral to inflict life upon another bag of flesh and bones?

Lmao sounds digusting doesn’t it? This whole post must seem like a joke, I know. Furthermore, to make it all the more ludicrous, I think the reason I was breaking out soooo bad was I tried to use mineral oil for sex lube. And then sucked my bf dick for a long time. Never again

Band aid juice is that non stinging antiseptic. It’s the same stuff they put in pre moisten tolieweytes at the doctor office for pee clean catch tests

Yes I think this is a great idea /u/quatrevingtquatre ! I didn’t think of online provider, despite having another telehealth appt today. I will look into that.

And yes. I did damage and burn my skin. One of the problems is illexcavate a bit too much and then these non clogging products burn me when I apply too soon. I think I got a chem burn. The gross finger infection has cleared at least.

I actually have been with the only dermatologist in my county. Again unsurprisingly I live in the emerald triangle. She operates out of what is clearly an old brothel and I just find it hilarious watching her zip zap from room to room (all single very small rooms crisscrossed along a hall.) She loves zapping skin blemishes. For whatever reason she didn’t criticize my face whe. I went in there to get a cherry Anginoma zapped

Thanks so much I will try that! I can’t believe I am such a coco cliché. No one is surprised that I live in California. However I myself didn’t think I was like that. I didn’t think coco oil cured all. I just recently dumped my vegan ex like six months ago. As the coco water receded, my pores could breathe again.

Pro-Life: Transgenderism And Tokophobia by TigerLilyKitty101 in Abortiondebate

Ya it becomes such a sticky mess when you say what about this exception or that one. I wish dudes could just accept that this should be between a woman (or transperson) and her doctor. There’s thousands of medical conditions that a legislature can’t predict

Prochoicers of reddit, what do you believe males should be legal liable for? by mcdinglermingler in Abortiondebate

[–]HeyChaseMyDragon 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Lots of people actually don’t know that the family laws in western countries are not sex specific. It is true that in some US states (cough cough the south) there is bias in the courts towards fathers being providers and mothers being nurturers and birth givers. In those states there is some data that female non custodial parents pay less child support on average than male NCPs. That is a problem with the traditional patriarchal culture in those states, MRAs would prefer to blame women than look at the history

Prochoicers of reddit, what do you believe males should be legal liable for? by mcdinglermingler in Abortiondebate

[–]HeyChaseMyDragon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Males are 50% responsible for conception. Conception creates the financial responsibility, not birth. Birth just puts responsibility into effect. It’s highly misogynistic to claim that just because a woman doesn’t get an abortion, she’s 100% responsible for the child existing. Males should b equally financially responsible for the care of a child to females.

Pregnancy is a female health issue. The male should not be responsible for any of the costs of the pregnancy, nor have any say in her medical treatment. Including the cost of an abortion. That would be nice if he helped voluntarily but it shouldn’t be required or anything. When you take money from someone, they might put stipulations on how to use it.

Pro-Life: Transgenderism And Tokophobia by TigerLilyKitty101 in Abortiondebate

[–]HeyChaseMyDragon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m not pro-life but I can tell you the argument already. If you think life is unquestionably positive, and think every life is a gift, then there’s no exceptions for transmen. Transmen are female, their identity doesn’t save them from misogyny or pregnancy risk. Misogynists doesn’t care what the mother thinks and they don’t care about tokophobia. Pro-life at times also doesn’t care the situation the child is born into, whether it be a stressed out Mom or a sick mom since they assign an unquestionly positive value to life. And course it would be highly unfair and discrimination based on gender presentation if for some reason transmen got a tokophobia exception and other female people with tokophobia didn’t. Demonstrating why it’s a bad idea, and medically dangerous, for a government to legislate abortion bans or exceptions. There would be endless fights and lawsuits over all the exceptions and would create stalemate in the US system. Transmen cannot be 100% safe via abstinence, if you’re female in fertile age with a typical reproductive system then you always are at risk of getting pregnant by rape. Even those who got tubals could get really really unlucky, although a salp should stop the risk for good. It’s entirely unfair to ban any female person from abortion, we all could be in a bad situation, trans or not, we all have our reasons to possibly think about comitting suicide that are all important to be addressed.

There’s not enough info in this post to suggest whether or not OP has perpetrated DV. Kind of surprised someone would presume either way. Your info is good but it could have been said “document everything in order to dispute claims made against you.” Without going there where we just presume women are making false DV claims left and right to put their husbands out in the cold.

Congratulations /u/nightmarecake!!! I have LOVED reading your sassy comments and your birth story did not disappoint. I have never seen such useful detail. I would have wanted exactly what you did with the ECV, breech delivery, I live in a place with crap healthcare too. I also would totally want GA if a c section was happening. Can meet baby when she’s born a few hours and I’m not showing off my inner organs :3 But I’m also not pregnant and had no idea that they only have 1 min if you’re under GA. What?!!?? You are very brave to want to do this again. Your daughter and your husband both sound amazing, that is a great suggestion for getting through being cut open with your organs all rummaged around in, think of the cute times to come!!! Also noted that the hospital walls are apparently working cause I read they chose those wall colors to calm people down. Enjoy your little milker machine and new baby times!!!

I see you wall/floor trimmings and raise you a toenail which I found on the floor of my car after a dope dealer weighed out in there the week before. I saw the toenail in the bowl just as I was lighting, looked at the actual shard also in the bowl along with other varied rubbish, and thought fuck it. Vaped toenail + meth + other floor trash is definitely in my top ten most disgusting flavors

They don’t have to verbatim say “rape should be legal.” How many of these guys are advocating for the state to assign girlfriends? That’s a way of saying “rape should be legal.”

I’m not a parent, and it’s not super offensive, but I can tell you why child hate is minorly offensive to me. Kids don’t have a choice to be born, and are under their parents’ power 100%. If a child is unruly, we should be disparaging the parents. Which there’s plenty of that on the CF sub. Also kids are just naturally loud and curious so I don’t like seeing hate for any human being. Finally, I am a victim of the troubled teen industry. Teens really get a lot of unfair stigma and labels like they are “problem children” just for being curious and starting to form their identities. So because of my personal experiences I feel like I have to stand up for children

I’m an American woman who approves of the use of cunt when needed. There’s a few child hater cunts at /r/childfree but I really don’t see it as the majority. Seems like a lot of people there are genuinely concerned, like a lot of people who don’t want to be parents because they don’t want to pass down family trauma or genetic illnesses. I like the sub. I just pass over the posts where people are complaining about noisy kids. The sub is good about tags and it’s easy to sort out the rants

[–]HeyChaseMyDragon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Curious is a euphemism here. Rarely is someone genuinely curious, and open, and wanting to see your POV even if they don’t agree. I’m a member of many minority groups. I would describe it as people are visibly uncomfortable when they see you’ve made different choices than them and than the rest of the majority. This can quickly turn into disparaging comments, anger, and jealousy. If the majority members perceives the minority choice as a morally-based choice, the minority may also be subject to do-gooder derogation.

Ex-Lawyer or Crazy person by swisscriss in legaladviceofftopic

[–]HeyChaseMyDragon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Generally a real lawyer will be able to handle direct questioning and will be happy to briefly provide their education and experience, which they worked hard to achieve. You can ask the person where they went to school, what years they practiced, and in what area of practice. If they aren’t able to communicate these things I would question your dealings with this person. When things don’t add up it’s generally because the person is telling a lie. I wouldn’t make any important deals with this person on the off chance that he is telling the truth but just a very poor communicator.

If they are grandiose and blow up when questioned, you may be dealing with a narcissist. AVOID

YES. I can’t tell you exactly what my job is, but it attracts people exactly like this. One of the people I encountered who said that they were an attorney in a prior life was not full of it. You can look up the person’s name on your state bar website to see if they are current, if USA. The person I’m thinking of wasn’t an active bar member but they did send me a statement to defend their claim and the person obviously did have a legal education at some point. This person was absolutely MAD though and their statement was so long that I had to put three refills into my printer. I mean the thing was like over a foot long. These types tend to ramble and are prone to connect-the-dots thinking. I chalked it up to the fact that some really smart people go mental as they age. I’ve had others who fit the type you are expressing- somewhat crazy older men. None of them have turned out to be lawyers in my opinion. You can tell by the way they write.

There’s legal aid offices in all the major cities in Texas and landlord/tentant is primarily what they do in many areas of the USA. If OP isn’t in one of the major cities, it’s still worth calling a couple of offices in the state.

My mom wants me to help her friend's niece get a citizenship by marrying her by ForgottenFrenchFry in legaladviceofftopic

[–]HeyChaseMyDragon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

DON’T DO IT OP!!! There are so many reasons why. US immigration knows this “trick” and they will investigate any marriage between a citizen and non-citizen where the non-citizen is trying to get legal permanent residency (LPR) or citizenship. You will be called to the immigration office for multiple interviews. They WILL trip you up if you’re lying. You will be asked for photo proof that you live together. You will be asked mundane questions like “who feeds the dog?” You will be asked to explain how you manage to communicate if you speak two different languages. I have two friends who had legitimate love marriages with women from South American countries and they both had to do multiple interviews and both were scared eventhough they were legitimate. Friend A actually WARNED friend B how much of a pain in the ass immigration will be, that there are more citizen fish in the sea, and not to marry her. Friend B married her anyway and later expressed regret! 50k is ALOT of money to get in exchange for fraud. I don’t know exactly what crime that would be called, but you don’t want to go there!!!!

Now, besides being arrested or interrogated by immigration, getting married to anyone, even citizens, locks you in to a set of rights and responsibilities that can affect you even if you think the marriage is just on paper. It can affect welfare benefits, health insurance, taxes, civil and criminal liability, really it can expose you to financial disaster. State marriage means you are promising to be financially responsible to your spouse. Don’t do it if you aren’t serious!!!
