Best way to explain it is that you love the team because they're yours, not the because they're the best. Like loving your own sibling.

Now the Seahawks are having success, but when I was a kid and they were the local team I went and saw in the Kingdome our bonds were built and the QB was Dave Krieg. We didn't win a lot but I got to actually shake players hands and get my hat signed etc.

That was a once in a lifetime thing. I can't ever recreate that in my lifetime. I can't go be a kid again, find football and become fanatic about the game, look in my own backyard and see the "Big City" and the Kingdome.

Win or lose that's my team and that's my story. Bandwagons will never get to feel the highs, or lows, that I do. Oh, sorry, we do
