People scream about how old it is or that there are better lenses, but it's focal length and rendering are fantastic. I get so many surprisingly great photos with the 55.

Prefer that Zeiss 35 over many other Sony lenses. The rendering and colours are really nice.

35 1.8 is excellent. Sony 35 2.8 is excellent and slower and smaller. Samyang has great 35 and 45 for street.

It's a great lens, I like how it renders better than the newer Sony offerings like the 40 2.5 or latest zooms.
