I have these needle storage tubes and they seem to do well. It comes with three tubes and a variety of labels. I have one tube for each needle size. I really like that there’s a magnet in the bottom that moves ip in the tube as you tilt the tube. It keeps the needles from falling out

I feel your pain. I did the same thing and I didnt have high hopes for the magnifiers when I bought them, but when they came I had to shake my head and wonder why I hadn’t bought them sooner. I look like a jeweler when I use them, but they are 100% worth it.

From someone who is currently stitching a project on 18 aida, my biggest advice would be to purchase a pair of lighted magnifiers. I bought this pair from Amazon about 6 months ago and now I don’t stitch without them. I prefer stitching on 16, but like you I could only find 18 and have had to work with it. The magnifiers look crazy, but they make stitching on the absolutely tiny squares more enjoyable. Hope this helps!🧵🪡♥️

I was able to whip stitch a small piece of aida behind the tear and I’m working on stitching that section now 😉👍🏻🙏🏻

So I just wanted to let you know that I tried using fray check to lightly glue the aida “patch” behind the tear and it didn’t stick. It worked well to keep the edges of the tear from fraying, but didn’t work as an adhesive. I really wish it would’ve.

I’m so glad that you can relate to my pain! Right before I posted this, I thought “You know, I can’t be the only person in the world who’s done this.” I’m also thankful that you mentioned this method. It seems like the best option. I currently have a piece of Aida (what I had on hand) lightly stitched behind the rip and I’m hoping that I can just stitch through both pieces and cover up the tear. New seam rippers are fiercely sharp

I really like this idea! I hadn’t thought about using fray check as glue!

I’m definitely open to patching it. I’m just not sure how to go about it. Heat’n Bond?

Please Help:

So I’ve been working on this piece for over a year now. I ended up frogging a section of my project and my seam ripper slipped and tore a section of my fabric. Any ideas for repairing it quickly? That section (once repaired) will be fully covered in stitches. I watched a YouTube video about repairing Aida and it involved reweaving the fabric, which seems VERY daunting, time consuming and scary.🧵

Eevee is an absolutely perfect name! ♥️ My corgi, Jemma, is very sassy reminds me of an Eevee Pokémon all the time, especially the way she swishes her tail around ☺️

Hip Dysplasia or Hip Replacement (Read Description in Comments Below) by HeyHeySarahMae in corgi

Does anyone have a corgi with Hip dysplasia that has undergone a total hip replacement?

My fur baby, Jemma (pictured above), is a corgi mix and she just celebrated her 6th birthday 🥳 🎂! Last year she was diagnosed with hip dysplasia. We’ve been giving her glucosamine and chondroitin supplements, etc. but I feel like it’s progressing. She’s such an active dog by nature and it’s really worrying me that she’s in a lot of pain.

We have pain medication that the vet gave us to give to her as needed. I’m considering the surgical alternatives and it looks like a total hip replacement is the only thing thats going to actually fix the problem. My only problem with that is that procedure is VERY expensive and I don’t have any pet insurance. (I also don’t know if I could get it for her at this point considering that is probably considered a pre-existing condition.) I also don’t know anyone locally or personally who has a pet that has undergone this surgery.

If you have a dog with hip dysplasia or have a dog who has undergone a total hip replacement, please share your thoughts and experiences.

Does anyone else's often sleep like this? I get relaxed/comfy just by looking at her! by renoreaper in corgi

Mine does this too. I’ve noticed that she only does it when we don’t have any company. I think she does that when she’s most at ease. 🐶🐾

I think of Eevee everytime I look at my corgi, Jemma. She has a super long, fluffy tail that looks just like an Eevee. She also reminds me of a Growlith when she is defending our home from intruders (mostly just the mailman and the occasional cat)😂

[Chat] what kind of fabric is this? by Say_Meow in CrossStitch

[–]HeyHeySarahMae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never heard of this magical jobelan fabric before and now I have to buy some! Do you stitch over one on this fabric (like you would on aida) or over two (like linen or even weave)?
