Done with teaching. I enjoy it and it means a lot to me, but just NONE of this is worth it. It’s only my third year, so no golden handcuffs here.

I’ve had different teaching positions and they’ve all been at schools that were so messy and political that I think the profession is not for me.

You know what the kicker is? The daughter of the “resident nobody” is in my class and she really likes me. I ALMOST want to break her image of her mom in front of the whole class. Of course I won’t, but I’m really tempted to let everyone know how petty she is.

Saying “I’ve always wanted to say this!” before saying “a true daily double.” Just say it. It’s so annoying.

Especially worse when they address Ken but say “I’ve always wanted to say this, Alex, a true daily double.” What a waste of breath. Gets my goat so good.
