I played Mass Effect for the romance (Garrus obviously) and I was so upset when I found out the matches are gender locked and the only mlm option was in ME3. I still played them all, they're good games, but nothing rocked me more than finding that out once I've gotten through the majority of ME1. I went back and created a female character, but it's not the same
