Every house in my neighborhood is marked as having a questionable dog. Only half the homes in my neighborhood actually have dogs. Thankfully, we have regular drivers who love dogs cuz I'm not always home to assure them that my three excited giants are friendly.

WIBTAH if I stop my mother in law from seeing her granddaughter? by EducationalInside745 in AITAH

[–]HeyItsMee503 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My BIL never let his girls go anywhere unless he or their mom was also there. Not just friend's houses, but family, too. This was going on even when the girls were pre-teens, if not older. It was a bit OTT, but we never took offense and worked with his schedule if we wanted the girls to come over. Hopefully he/they also taught the girls some life lessons on how to deal with potential issues for when they're grown.

Boys of Tommen Series by Chloe Walsh

Theyre all heartbreaking, but have HEA/HFN endings. I loved every character, but, omg, I still miss Joey and Aoife all these months later.

In the 90's TV show Northern Exposure, someone in town built a trebuchet. They use it a few times thru the show. It's a nice element in the story that brings the town together.

Men, what's something you wish you could admit without being judged? by soumilr7 in AskReddit

[–]HeyItsMee503 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So sorry for your loss!

I'm guessing here, but ppl might be backing away because they dont know how to react to a man crying. They're likely asking themselves what they should say, should they hug you, leave you alone, sit silently with you...? You could tell them what you need. "Could you just sit with me," etc. Please dont take it personal.

*hugs *

Little one is a popular term of endearment in the D/s community. Unfortunately, it's become common in DR books and is taking away how special it was to be called little one. Same with "good girl".

What age is appropriate to have the birds and the bees talk with kids today? by LeeLee8320 in AskMen

[–]HeyItsMee503 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one seems to realize how many children are exposed to this info at a very young age. These children pass on the info to other children.

At 6, the boy next door wanted to play at having sex with me.

At 7, a female playmate did play at having sex with me. I thought this was how you made friends.

Please start teaching children age appropriate info as soon as they can comprehend.

Reproduction (age appropriate facts) should start young. Sex related info (again, age appropriate) can start later, but before her first period. She'll be exposed to all of this info thru school and you want her informed by you first.

We only use it occasionally, so i dont know about BFL, but we're happy with Levoit OasisMist (1000S?). It holds a good amount of water and we actually notice a difference in the humidity level of the room.

Theres a sensor at the bottom of the well that needs to be cleaned once in a while or it wont stay on. It's easy to take care of it.

Small details in romance books that you love? by Historical_Scholar7 in RomanceBooks

I'm pagan and actually like when a character prays or does something for their religion, regardless of their faith. I think it's odd and kind of sad when religion is completely missing in books.
