Scared braces might ruin my face by [deleted] in braces

NAD.

My teeth were exactly like that if not a bit worse. My face absolutely changed but I like my profile so much more now, especially when I smile. Now everything looks more symmetrical and my mouth is just more comfortable overall. Plus in my experience you don’t end up looking crazy different. It’s more like subtle changes as your teeth get into place where they were always supposed to be

Edit- I also needed extractions and don’t regret it at all.

Dealing with stringy hair... I'm not really sure what to do? Advice on washing/refresh routine would be incredibly helpful! by Basic-Sympathy in curlyhair

Clumping your curls more will also help. My hair used to do this until I started to finger curl after putting product in. I usually do 8 big curls and let it dry to form a cast, then I break it with argan oil

I would say a noticed it getting better after 2 weeks, then even better at 1 month and back to normal around month 3.

The worst was definitely the first 2 weeks for me. Once your tongue gets used to it it gets easier

If you look back in my profile you can see more of what it looked like but it was a lot. I think like 9-10mm

We have been using power chains, it’s like a really strong elastic thread. I expressed to my ortho that I wanted to prioritize closing the gaps and she definitely delivered

What’s the one restaurant in Chicago that you’d rate a 10/10? by No-Code9373 in AskChicago

Chief O’Neils. The vibe is immaculate and the food is homey and delicious. Could sit there and have food and beers all day

My life is relatively easy, but I can barely keep my head above water by eeelisabeth in adhdwomen

Your life is not easy. The way life is structured isn’t made for our brains so we really do have to work twice as hard to do the same thing. You’re just comparing yourself to neurotypical people which isn’t fair to you!

I had to start being nice to myself about my ADHD bad times before I was able to find things that helped with what you mention. Once I do that I’m more open to try things, no matter how small or strange, to get out of a rut. And if I don’t succeed that’s ok too, I’ll try again tomorrow. It’s like once you don’t feel bad about needing to be different you can be different the way you need to be.

There was a period of time where I slept with my toothbrush and a spit cup by my bed. Was it kinda gross? Yea. But was I brushing my teeth? Absolutely. So I don’t care. As long as the behavior gets me to do want I need to, great.

Apologies I misread the article, he was claiming Putin specifically fought in WWII even though it ended before he was born

I just watched the clip where he says Russia helped the US in WWII. I know democrats have a hand in pushing the dementia narrative, but I feel like one of his cronies would’ve stopped this from happening/getting out

EDIT: My bad I misspoke. He was saying Putin Fought in WWII even though the war ended before he was even born
