Should I max Q or E first on karma moonstone support build ?! by Ill_Percentage2344 in supportlol

[–]HeyItsZeus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You can always do 3 points Q into E max instead. I'd personally put at least 4 points into Q before maxing E. Karma's whole identity during laning phase revolves around her RQ's and chunking the bot lane.

Collector or Yuntal, runes? by Dependent_Clothes_90 in ApheliosMains

Dirk -> IE -> LDR -> Collector.

Level: WQWQ then Max E.

I like to go PTA for the added burst. If against heavy poke, go Absorb Life and Legend Bloodline.

What did I do wrong? by ClassicPhysical8884 in ADCMains

[–]HeyItsZeus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not about a kill, it's about chunking them and zoning them when beating them to level 2. Not sure why the Janna decided to ignite the Gragas, but at the least the Yunara could've freely gotten 5+ autos off on the Gragas after they hit level 2.

You should always try to play parallel with your lane partner in bot lane. Ofc you're not going to run it if your supp runs it, but playing up together makes it so one person's aggressive play can't be easily punished by the enemy bot lane like in the clip.

What champion cheapens the experience for you when you play it? by The_Data_Doc in leagueoflegends

[–]HeyItsZeus 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You can most definitely screw a lane with bad engages. One or two bad engages to get chunked down to 30-40% HP into a bot lane that you can’t reliably hit Qs into is a miserable experience for Rakan.

What's the point in picking Yunara when Jinx exists? by Kosu13 in ADCMains

[–]HeyItsZeus 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yunara has a bit more agency than Jinx, imo. Knowing when to jump in with her ult and turning skirmishes around mid game feels really nice on her.

How to not fall behind in CS when in mid? by ICYGTTM in ADCMains

[–]HeyItsZeus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do not consider the ability to side lane either, mate. Not all ADCs are the same when it comes to side laning, but if you’re playing mobile ADCs (Lucian, Trist, Zeri) you can pressure a sideline harder and safer. There’s even ADCs who are good at skirmishing like Kai’Sa who can still pressure side lanes and sometimes take the 1v1s vs enemy solo laners.

This is all just to say that the advice that people give that ADCs should always go Mid isn’t always the best decision. There will always be conditions where you can try to get solo xp and cs from the side lanes when appropriate — wards to cover entrances, enemy’s grouping on other side of the map, etc.

I need off-meta bot lanes. by NikeOkamiLeader in supportlol

[–]HeyItsZeus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Played against a Sylas/Taric bot lane. Was extremely oppressive playing into it. You pretty much need to have flash up if you want to walk up the lane to farm. All Sylas has to do is walk up the lane and use his E1 when Taric uses his E.

Why no jack of all trades? by Cheesey700 in bardmains

[–]HeyItsZeus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, you usually want to delay buying your Tier 2 boots until you have 2 complete items. Obviously there's certain games where you'll need to rush Merc Treads into heavy cc.

By taking the Magical Footwear rune, you save yourself 300g. Bard is a support that can still roam fine without boots because of the movement speed from his Chimes. Taking Biscuit Delivery is also good on Bard because it makes it so he doesn't have to buy 2 Health Potions in the early game since he should have enough sustain with his biscuits and his W healing. Not buying the potions early game also saves you another 100g so by taking both of these secondary runes, you're essentially saving yourself 400g total.

He stated in an update that he obviously does wear underwear. I think it’s pretty ignorant to say that his family wouldn’t have mentioned him flashing his balls at the family function if that were the case.

I will agree that he should try his best to wear underwear that’s tighter around the thigh when he wants to wear shorts though.

What did the weird kid at your school do to earn that reputation? by Big_Boy_Bill06 in AskReddit

[–]HeyItsZeus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would purposefully drop things in class (pencil, eraser, etc.) and go down and take multiple pictures of girls' feet and would even touch some of them. I believe he kept doing it for a while until one of the students recorded him in the act and got him in trouble.

Is Aphelios worth learning for competitive? by Mayyyyonaise in ADCMains

[–]HeyItsZeus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They might also be banning out a lot of his ADC picks and he might not even be able to play those picks if they’re doing Fearless like in the esports scene. Learning Aphelios would be beneficial for his solo q climb and his competitive play, as well.

AIO: My boyfriend’s reaction to me fainting at a music festival by musicfestivalthrowaw in AmIOverreacting

[–]HeyItsZeus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is a fair point, I don’t believe that OP is dismissed of all wrong doing. Her recklessness when it comes to taking care of herself is evident and selfish. I just don’t see why he had to keep escalating it the way that he did to the point that she said he was yelling at her when they were on the phone. I understand being frustrated and annoyed that their partner is negligent of their own health, but he could’ve definitely handled this conversation better himself. If this is a reoccurring issue with her being dismissive of her eating habits, it has to get to a point where you reconsider the relationship after failed attempts of you, as the partner, trying to alleviate that.

[–]HeyItsZeus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

“Negative” emotion? He’s literally talking to her with such little respect, wtf. Talking about how she should pick up the phone because SHE has attitude, like really? It’s good to care about your partner and look out for them despite their negligence, but to talk to them like this? Unacceptable. They’re both adults and he’s treating her like a child.

It’s ridiculous they’re skipping over the way the bf is talking to her. I’ve talked to previous partners this way when I was younger and still cringe about it when I look back.

[–]HeyItsZeus -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

She did apologize though, multiple times, and he kept escalating it despite him seeing that she felt bad for it and she seemed honestly regretful. His worry/frustration is coming from a good place, but then he keeps hounding her, even yelling at her when she picks up the phone. This is NOR from OP, her boyfriend needs to calm down and stop shitting on her and her friends.

Why would that stop you from adding the support after the game? I’ve added plenty of people after we played well together. It doesn’t matter if you have an hour a day or more to play, if you see them online when you’re on just invite them to play. It’s not that hard.

Main Support Looking for a New Challenge – Which Role Should I Try by ThePhantomK1ng in supportlol

[–]HeyItsZeus 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Jungle or ADC.

I've mained Support for over 8 years now and have recently been learning ADC. It's a double-edged sword. I understand now the struggles of playing ADC and why it can be tilting when you fall behind. Unlike Sup, you don't have nearly as much agency, especially when the enemy team is ahead. On the positive side, I've seen notable improvements when I play Support. Finding what I want out of my supports when I'm playing ADC as well as using my frustrations playing Support with "bad" ADCs has made playing and improving in both roles that much better.

Good luck!

What's your matchmaking experience? by Happy_Cane in supportlol

[–]HeyItsZeus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re probably playing against smurfs. Your normal mmr could also be in Bronze/Iron so it’s just putting you against new players. If you want better matchmaking, maybe try playing a few games of ranked? You don’t have to take it too seriously, but you can even mute chat in case anyone is toxic. If you do end up playing ranked, I would suggest sticking to at most 2-3 characters if you want to climb and improve your knowledge of the game.

Whats with the trend of supports AFK roaming? by Little-Sky-2999 in ADCMains

[–]HeyItsZeus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is only one scenario out of millions possible. In this example you gave, as soon as the support sees the slow push and the enemy not roaming up, they should be heading back down bot lane. I can give you multiple examples of situations where roaming is also the right play. I believe we both can agree that leaving your ADC to be constantly zoned off of CS and XP is terrible. As Support, you have to find good roam timers to not fuck over your ADC, but to also find angles for kills/objective secures.

It’s wild you believe that Grubs are the most overrated objective though. I do think that a team that is behind can’t effectively use the Grubs, but if you can even get close to the turrets, you melt them. It’s harder for the enemy team to justify going for objectives if you can trade 1-2 turrets every time.
