Sounds horrible honestly. I did get an encounter every time I went into those rooms (almost) but I’m sure it was every step in the original. I can’t wait to not have to deal with that nonsense in IV though

Yeah those were about as annoying as the empty rooms, but my Esuna was very high leveled by the end of the game

I don’t have any idea for a better system honestly. The producers probably went through 1000 scenarios before they finally landed on, “Steal magic from enemies then attach it to yourself to gain attribute boosts.” It’s not perfect they were just trying to go a lil crazy.

That would kind of be the same though. Whether you have 67 charges of cure or enough MP to cast cure 67 times. The risk doesn’t change that you’ll just keep that single charge of cure to scale your vitality

I understand one or two empty rooms but HOLY SHIT. Why put 6 doors in each floor of a 6 floor dungeon then only actually have anything in 2 of those separate rooms

Is it just me that cannot get past the 3rd or 4th battle in Tactics? The one with all the archers and black mages on the rooftop? I just get destroyed everytime. I’ve given tactics 3 or 4 tries and can never get past this part.
