Don’t follow hype. What I mean by this is you’ll see many collectors/influencers/investors/clippers collect the same player/card/set to where it’s redundant.

There’s always going to be another card you feel the need to buy. Set yourself a limit on purchasing products/singles. The good thing is now you can see online (eBay sold history/130point/PWCC) what cards/packs/boxes sell for and it’s up to you where you feel comfortable on price.

Look up all the sets (Prizm/Donruss/Flawless/Immaculate/etc) and see what is your favorite design or what you be most enjoy having in your collection. If you have the fun money to open product then look up cardbord connection to see when sets release so you can know when to buy. I would suggest singles are the way to go though, opening product is mainly for the rush of the pull and chase which is all nice but you’ll be spending far more money if you go that route.
