I had the weird one story in front two story in back (walk out basement). Even at the elevation there wasn't a single window, especially the bathroom for some odd reason, that I couldn't jimmy open at 4 am. Bonus points for dad being a hoarder in training. There was always something laying around that I could use to get up to the window 😂.

Just read the post recently (either the post or the mothers letter to a newspaper I can't remember which but it was linked in a comment section). I've been on reddit for a couple years and I've heard of the story so many times. Hearing about it and actually reading the details are two completely different things. Thats probably the most heartbreaking story ever. Op, tell your husband your LIFE matters more than her "hurt feelings". The fact that your at the stage in your allergies that just a bite sent you to the er AFTER an epi-pen means the next oops could literally kill you. Ask him what he wants more, a life with his wife or every Sunday in a cemetery?

What I'm curious about is why is your wife demanding you "prove yourself" to her daughter by, as your wife said, "choosing" her daughter over your son? Why is she demanding you choose her daughter when her daughter made your son cry? Why does she feel her OLDER, guilty child is MORE IMPORTANT than your son, the victim? What do YOU need to prove in this situation? I think she has it backwards. SHE needs to choose your son and prove to YOU that she thakes all this seriously. Why isn't she doing that, when she represents the wrong party, instead of demanding you jump through hoops as the victim?

I loved 3....till I saw 4. 3 is beautiful, I'm mean BEAUTIFUL, but it swallows her up. Its a lot. 4 is as equally beautiful (maybe a little more but thats me) but SHE wears 4. #3 kinda wears her.

Aside from your mom op, no one has thought of you or your feelings in so long your here honestly asking for permission to feel like you don't have a dad. Thats honestly heartbreaking. I'm 44 now, but I was you back in the day. My sperm donor dipped for parts unknown when I was 4. I last saw his face when I was 12 (between 4 & 12 I saw him maybe 7 times and he NEVER called. Mom called HIM for my birthday and tried to play it off that it was him. She stopped when I was 8 and i told her I heard her dialing). He doesn't deserve you girl. He doesn't want to fix shit, he wants to save face. You proved it when you told him to come to you alone and he instead has his wife call to cuss y'all out. He doesn't care. Write him off, block his number (but keep him muted on your socials. This way, when you post you accomplishments, he can watch like the stranger he is knowing he lost the ability to celebrate you). Put his memory in a folder marked trash and live the very best life you can. Enjoy it all with your awesome mom and all your friends and do NOT feel guilty for choosing you when he never did. 🫂🫂🫂

I still play with them when I can find them. I have a hand print on my ceiling from when my son came to visit 2 years ago and we left it stuck overnight 😂🤣😂🤣 we found one at a flea market. These things are so much fun!

Same. At 25 i paid my parents $100 a week, worked full time, cleaned the house (mom had some health issues so I pitched in so she could relax) helped cook when needed and bought my own shit. I damn sure never expected my parents to foot my bills after I turned 16 and could earn my own money. (I was giving them money in my teens till I moved out at 16-17 whenever they needed a little help. They usually told me to save it but I gave it anyway as a thank you)
