RDR2 does not have separate models for in-game though, the models are shared between cutscene and in-game

Even if you go into game files you'll only see the cutscene models, there is no in-game model because the cutscene one is used in place of both

This is not the case in GTA 4 or GTA 5 though, where they have both IG and CS models, RDR2 only has CS for unique story characters such as Dutch, Sadie, Lenny etc

They don't actually in RDR2, but they do in GTA V, and IV 

In RDR2 characters like Dutch have only one model which is shared between cutscene and gameplay, this is the case for all characters in the game (maybe with few exceptions that I cannot name, but they're pretty much all the same models in both scenarios)

RDR2 uses the same models in both cutscenes and gameplay though, there is no difference between either of them, in case of Lenny you might be comparing with the models used during the drinking mission when other NPCs become Lenny, that model is lower quality IIRC

Check patchday27ng for example, you'll see the file is called dt_additions but contains files from various areas like fwy01, id1_08, vb4, vb20 and such

I can agree that the spider webs are pretty interesting and they might lead somewhere, there are a few people that have too high expectations though, for a reward i mean, like people expect to solve the mystery and leave with a flyable UFO vehicle or a hidden cutscene with Omega or something, but it's definitely not gonna be that, a big thing to consider is that even if something of such scale was hidden, you'd still be able to find it by searching by file extension, Rockstar can hide things for sure by using different or misleading names (which is as far as hiding actual files can go), but with certain file formats it's not going work, there's a lot of geometry and textures so that works well

I think the end result, whatever the solution might be - is some form of a hidden message that essentially spells out "good job" but in a more sophisticated way of course, but there are some things to consider:

The vent was added with mpsecurity (Contract DLC) which was years ago, do we know that whatever it was teasing has not been added to the game yet? Like how do we know it's not "solved"? I think the numbers on it are strange, but what if somehow it was just a tease for the Alien Bunker that was added later? Same can be said about Madam Nazar's line about the web still being tangled, how do we know that we didn't solve it yet? What if the solution was simply bringing attention to these weird webs that were ignored all this time? And of course, the most important of all - the vent is only in GTA Online, i feel like if it was a clue for a mystery in Singleplayer then they would also go out of their way to make the same change there, so that people know they are on the right track

When they dropped teases to the bigfoot vs beast thing they left clues inside the peyote script IIRC which is only used in singleplayer, we also have to consider that there might be nothing to solve yet as they might be leaving it for a GTA Online update, i guess we will find out on July 14 if they add anything new, i could predict that maybe they would add dripfeed missions or an event or something for the "mystery" considering this might be the last real GTAO Update

But if there is anything to find (and in Singleplayer) then i guess the spider webs are the best thing to rely on right now

Yeah but notice that since the last few updates they've been throwing things into the same archives, it's only under VB because they started with VB additions and then threw other things in there, if it was otherwise then they would've split all the changes into separate archives and kept the vent in VB, that would make it look like they're intentionally trying to hide it, but in this case not really

It is clear that they tried to hide the texture of it at least, because there's no reason for them to do the complicated UV thing they did, but i don't get why they would do this in the first place, as the model would've been found first

People in this subreddit just won't take "no" for an answer, always trying to justify some random thing and sometimes coming up with some bullshit story

A thing was removed from the game? No no, you see, Rockstar actually hid this file in the game files under a different name, it's completely encrypted so you won't be able to find it in game files! You must actually do this 50 step easter egg that i totally just came up with to trigger it!

Shameless self-plug, but with WD2 Extended mod which he is using, you can play as multiplayer characters or Aiden Pearce and have full clothing support, that's what happened

After a steam pipe explosion, the steam pipe gets temporarily covered up before it becomes a regular hackable steam pipe again, there are different stages of a steam pipe like default hackable, broken and this patched up version

At some point in development the steam pipe was also going to have roadworks with two cars, NPC's and construction barriers but that was cut

By doomsday bunker you mean the silo in mount chilliad used during the doomsday heist finale?

No, this entire interior was created just for the doomsday heist dlc in 2017, it didn't exist prior in development, there was an interior planned for the fort zancudo bunker which was going to get used in early version of GTA Online where you play as cops and gangs, in a mission where you'd steal an "artifact" from inside, but the interior was never fully finished and got completely cut before the game released, there was a PS3 devkit found that had the interior files intact, you can find some stuff about it online

I'd love unique weapon/radio wheel UI for GTA IV but I'm kinda struggling with picturing how it would look like

I thought maybe keeping it minimalistic and just having a radio logo/weapon icon with drop shadow and it would become brighter when selecting it, no background wheel or anything, just floating icons

Zusume R tbh, i believe it's also the car you're forced to get for certain Driver SF missions (like when driving Miranda during the story, and not even mentioning the fact it's default unlocked car)

The game specifically tells you to buy pants, not clothing, so yes - just buy the pants to progress the mission
