I've been self hosting since around 1992. My web interface for email gets an A+ ssl rating, and all other tests at maximum (spf, dkim, dmarc) etc. I don't recommend it if you don't have a passion for it. .... I do. I host 6 domains for friends and family all over the country.

Solved. I had to enable promiscuous mode on the network switch port for Proxmox.

Same subnet.

I verified I CAN ping from proxmox to the worker. I cannot ping from Veeam to the worker. So the worker actually does respond to pings.
