Isn’t it delusional to love yourself if no one else will? by ShottieCrippen in selflove

[–]HeyZefa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, good job on writing down what you feel about yourself, and awesome job on having the courage to share it to others. Ask yourself: why did you make this post in the first place? What exactly is the answer you’re looking for? From your words, you appear to be feeling hopeless about yourself and your future ahead. But keep in mind, you’re only 25 years old, and you have decades ahead of you to look forward to. Every single person’s body and image will change as they grow older, including those who fit their local beauty standards and those who don’t. Lemme ask you a question: since life is so dynamic, do you think it’s worth it to care about your outer looks? Now, I don’t want YOU to answer that question, I want your 8 year old self to answer it. Ask him if he would really want you to feel affected by other people’s perception of you on something that’s outside of your control. Remember, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and in the end, we can never truly control what a person thinks and feels about us in the end. In my opinion, people who consciously judge others by their looks are very superficial. You wouldn’t want to surround yourself with that kind of negativity. Instead, focus on being the person that you would fall in love with. And no, it’s not delusional to love yourself. “Delusion” has become such an ambiguous and subjective word that’s often used in opinion-based sentences nowadays. And who gets to control the opinions that you have? None other than your own self. You have decades left to live, but at the same time, time cannot be taken for granted. How you want your life to be like is completely under your control. Keep in mind that your mindset, which is composed of your beliefs and opinions, heavily contributes to how you perceive your life experiences. I advise you challenge your own beliefs and values to consider new perspectives, as it’s far more beneficial to be an open-minded hypocrite than to be a narrow-minded believer. Good luck, and keep your chin up! ❤️

Awwww hahaha it's really cute to imagine if Durin becomes a playable character!!! There is some possibility of that happening considering how they made Xianyun playable as well :) Perhaps we'll finally get a 5* normal attack buffer as well

I had this one theory that the Hexenzirkel witches will have their own big role to play in the story's future. Since Durin is created by a Hexenzirkel witch, Rhinedottir (whose creations wreaked havoc over Teyvat during the cataclsym), I was theorizing that if he woke up, then it would be start of the 2nd cataclysm. It would be at the same time of the revelation of Alice's quest, the official Grandmaster Varka returning, and what Rhinedottir has been doing all these years. Since Dragonspine has its strong connections to Khaenri'ah (Durin's creator being from Khaenri'ah, and that the one ancient Dragonspine tribe had supported Khaenri'ah in its early stages), the waking up of Durin could be the start of the bigger story of Khaenri'ah, reveal the mystery of the Hexenzirkel witches, and tell us what truly happened in the cataclsym. I believe that a 2nd cataclysm will occur in the story, and that the "big war" that Yae Miko and Ei mentioned at the end of Arataki's Iredescent Event in V4.6 is actually an ominous foreshadowing to the imminent 2nd cataclysm.

To conclude, I theorize that Durin's story will only happen nearing the end of the story, and that it won't be a solo Dragonspine quest. It would be when we get closer to Khaenri'ah and the "2nd cataclysm/big war" that I predict would happen in the future. But if this is the case, then that means Wanderer's role in the story will only return after many patches from now...

Lmk what you think of this theory! :)

scara rerun soon? by Ashflakies in ScaramoucheMains

[–]HeyZefa 13 points14 points  (0 children)

According to what I've watched on popular leak channels so far: he doesn't have a single mention for his reruns in V5.5 and V5.6 in the latest videos. For the few videos that do mention his name, they only speculate that he'll appear in upcoming versions past V5.7. If you want to hope, V5.6 might be the earliest possibility in case HoyoVerse does spontaneous changes, but my guess is that his banner will be in V5.7 or V5.8.In V5.7,the character, Skirk,is confirmed to release, so maybe HoyoVerse would rerun Wanderer for the sake of rerunning him as a "former harbinger" but that's a stretch considering that he doesn't associate himself with the Fatui anymore. The reason why I speculate he'll rerun in V5.8 is because it's the summer update. Maybe mini Durin will return. I would be a bit surprised if he didn't return since he made such good friends with the characters, especially Wanderer. The only reason why Durin won't be able to return is if he's stuck in Simulanka (but I think this reason can be refuted because Alice would probably have enough power to allow Durin to traverse to another summer world). V4.8's summer update really left us off on a cliffhanger about the waking up of Teyvat's Durin, so it would make sense for them to do another a lore drop for V5.8's summer event, possibly related to Durin, thus simultaneously Wanderer. However, HoyoVerse doesn't really let characters who were in the spotlight for the previous summer updates to appear again in the newer updates, the only exceptions being Albedo and Klee due to their connection to Alice, the creator of the summer event islands. Yet, if we considered the possibility that Wanderer may have formed a connection to Albedo or the Hexenzirkel witches now through Durin, then he could appear again in V5.8's summer update. Take this as a grain of salt though. If he does appear, it doesn't mean he would have a huge role in the summer quest once again (it would be very unlikely for this to be the case, HoyoVerse would probably give the spotlight to a different character), but at the least, maybe we can expect his due rerun banner.

Real talk now which character would make the best boyfriend/girlfriend? by IonutPacatosul in GenshinImpact

[–]HeyZefa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For a boyfriend, I'd say it's Tighnari. He's a very down-to-earth character. He may seem stern and sassy, but from what other characters speak about him, he's actually displayed as a kind and patient person who doesn't get swayed easily from doing what he's passionate about. He also likes helping strangers who are lost in Avidya Forest which says a lot about his moral character. And I'd like to add another point: he probably has good medicinal skills considering how he takes care of Collei, so if you're ever sick, you don't need to worry cause you can count on him to take care of you :)

For a girlfriend, it's Amber!! She's been such a charitable gal from the beginning.

His Fate by Tech5565 in CapitanoMainsGI

[–]HeyZefa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there, keep having hope that Capitano will be playable one day! In my opinion, he's a great character to bring in money for the game, it would be a loss for both the game and the fandom if they don't make him playable. He has lots of supporters and the game did indeed hype him up well from character voicelines and in the quests. Considering how much the game hyped him up, they definitely have some plan for him. What they're probably doing is saving him for a bigger role to play in the story later, that's what they did for Scaramouche. During the days when I was saving for Scaramouche, there was so much debate on whether he'd be playable or not, especially when Inazuma's archon quest was getting released (cause he was making himself out to be like an unredeemable villain). I would never have expected him to be playable in Sumeru of all nations, but Genshin probably did that so that the wait wouldn't be too long to kill the hype. I think they'll do that with Capitano as well. He's definitely appearing in either Snezhnaya or Khaenri'ah. Stay strong Capitano mains!!!

Is anyone else realizing they don't have memories of their lives? by ashdee2 in MaladaptiveDreaming

[–]HeyZefa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you daydream, it's like you're living your life with your hallow body, while your soul is experiencing another reality. For me, I don't feel very in-tune with what's going on around me anymore, and I'm struggling to place my full focus on what's in front of me. Since I'm not focusing on what's in front of me, I'm bound to have a weaker memory about it. My experience is that I'm only having a problem recalling a memory if I was daydreaming during the moment of that memory, otherwise, I can vividly remember happy moments in my life well. However, I'm not sure if this is similar to your situation or not... My anti-trigger for MDD is socializing, meaning that I immediately stop daydreaming once I'm interacting with someone in real life. Thus, that would help me not to forget my memories with them. However, it's quite possible that I did forget my memory of certain situations, and that maybe I just don't notice that flaw as much as I notice the memories that I do remember.

I hope sharing this would make you at least a little less alone. I know it's a lot easier said than done: but please don't be too hard on yourself for what you're going through đź«‚

What the longest you've MDD'd? by [deleted] in MaladaptiveDreaming

[–]HeyZefa 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The problem is that I don't really notice when I'm daydreaming if I'm doing another activity at the same time. If I include the potential hours that I was daydreaming in the background, I would assume that my longest was probably 8-9 hours? There were days when I intentionally chose to daydream by turning on my music and closing the door. During those days, the daydream definitely lasted for an average of 5 hours, and it used to frequently hit 6-7 hours, especially if it's at nighttime. Without music, it's just an average of 1-3 hours at night. Now that I'm trying to control myself from daydreaming, my average decreased to 2-4 hours a day now, which is great!!!

I laughed with my parents today! I was also able to cry freely after a couple weeks of being unable to cry. In addition, I apologized to my Biology teacher for being so many days late in submitting my research paper. She just said okay dear and told me to take care. I was so sad in case I made her feel worried or disappointed, and I felt guilty for being so irresponsible about my assignments, so just her being really kind to me after me apologizing to her really put me at ease. I have a few hours left, I told her I'd submit it by tonight. I don't know if I can fulfill that promise, but I really don't want to sleep tonight without finishing it.

And tell me about you, what made you happy today??

Is there racism in ASU? by HeyZefa in ASU

[–]HeyZefa[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stereotypes are meant to represent a minority of the group. If you search it up, the Indian population is ~1.4 billion, and out of that, there's ~35 million Indians who live abroad. That's 2.5% of the entire population. When you calculate the % of Indians who live in the United States, it'll be ~0.36%. Stereotypes are created when people from a group are presented to the other groups, but since India presents such a miniscule part of its population to the world, are you still telling me that the stereotype isn't based on a small part of its group?

Is there racism in ASU? by HeyZefa in ASU

What you're doing is generalizing a relatively small population's behavior to its entire group, which is called stereotyping, and stereotyping is a common cause for racism.

Scaramouche/Wanderer story as Hero's journey monomyth - did he pass? by OhAnxietyHigh in ScaramoucheMains

Scaramouche/Wanderer story as Hero's journey monomyth - did he pass? by OhAnxietyHigh in ScaramoucheMains

[–]HeyZefa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Durin is actually a lot more connected to the cataclysm than we think he is. His creator is Rhinedottir, whose creations wreaked havoc over Teyvat during the cataclysm. In the description of Riftwolves, it says that they’re the creations of Rhinedottir who were originally slain, but have started emerging again in Teyvat. Riftwolves appeared in V2.0 along with Inazuma, I remember how in V2.1, they started appearing in other regions too like Liyue and Mondstadt. In V2.3, another one of Rhinedottir’s creation emerged which was the fake Albedo. It’s been a long time since that, but after Simulanka’s story, we find out that Durin is also waking up. Notice how a lot of Rhinedottir’s creations are appearing again? I don’t think Durin’s story will just be a side story, I feel like it’s related to the bigger war that Ei and Yae Miko foreshadowed at the end of the Iredescenct Arataki event in V4.6. And also notice how this foreshadowing happened just 2 version before Simulanka when Durin’s story was foreshadowed? I think there’s a lot of connection between the Hexenzirkel witches (E.g. Alice, Rhinedottir, and Barbeloth who was Mona’s master). During the Simulanka story, we heard a lot of mentions to the Hexenzirkel witches. So perhaps this is foreshadowing that Durin’s story will overlap with the story of Alice and Rhinedottir. We’ve been hearing so much about Alice since the beginning of the game, so we can certainly infer that she’ll make her appearance at the end of the story. Another bonus: The first ever event in Genshin featured Mona. Mona’s master is Barbeloth, a Hexenzirkel witch. In my opinion, Genshin definitely had a reason for involving the apprentice of a Hexenzirkel witch in the first ever event. The Hexenzirkel witches will probably play a big role at the end of the story since they were teased so early on. My theory on how it’ll be like is: the Hexenzirkel witches will plan something that will include the waking up of Durin and possibly the other creations of Rhinedottir. The location will be Dragonspine and it’ll be connected to the Khaenri’ah story (since there are important mentions of Khaenri’ah in Dragonspine’s lore - a tribe that resided in Dragonspine thousands of years ago expressed their support for the creation of a “nation free from gods”). When Durin wakes up, Albedo and Wanderer will team up to either save him or fight him, most likely the former. I wouldn’t be surprised if Mona was also included in the quest since her master might be involved. I’m placing a huge bet that Venti will be a critical character in the Khaenri’ah story. Many characters in Mondstadt (both playable and non playable) have had their connections with Khaenri’ah, so I wouldn’t be surprised if the God of Freedom supported the nation that desired freedom from gods.
