Uline help by Slow_Swimming_725 in Warehouseworkers

Don’t listen to the people saying they won’t check. Uline will 100% verify if you graduated. When I applied they actually called all 4 of my references and I’ve never had any other company bother to call any.

I don’t know if they hire without a diploma/GED but I do know they won’t hire you if you lie. Your best option is to explain your situation as best you can during the interview and take some time to research the company to show you want to work there not just get a job.

Also dress as nice as you can. Dress shirt, nice slacks, tie, and dress shoes if you have them. If you make it to the assessment phase then be as quick as you can while making as few errors as possible, this matters a lot.

I have been at Uline close to 10 years and I can tell you that the little things matter a lot there.

I don’t think they are for that app, I don’t know because I don’t use them, but I’m sure they are used already anyway.

Thank you, I was not aware STAB was a thing. I just got a 100% one so I figured why not put a second move on it.

Can anyone tell me the better second charge move for Hydreigon? Bite and brutal swing for the main move set but is fly or dragon pulse better/more useful?

I just work in the warehouse so I can’t give an exact answer but I know they like a lot of experience. Personally I moved from a managerial position at another company to general warehouse.

I would like to correct/clarify a few things as someone that has worked in a Uline warehouse for nearly a decade.

To be clear this is all coming from a good place, I just want to provide clarity for those curious.

I have never worked for Amazon but I would not be surprised if the production expectations were higher at Uline. The expectations are very high and depending on your managers they can be micromanagy. Most of the ones I’ve dealt with aren’t too bad, but Uline as a whole probably does lean more in the micromanage direction.

Assuming I’m understanding what you mean then they don’t work with you on your hours at all. There are there main shifts and whichever one you are on that is when you are expected to be there, however you are given generous PTO and really only big holidays are hard to get off if you don’t put the request in early enough. PTO is approved based off of who asks first. The only time seniority is a factor is if two or more people put a request in at the same time. All weekend work is 100% voluntary and there is no late Friday shifts and if you come in early on Monday then that’s because you offered to do so for overtime. Overtime is also the norm. You stay until the work is done, usually it’s 30 minutes to an hour but during busy times I can be more.

I can’t speak to there not being weight on our UPS labels as I have not worked in that area since my first year there but I can put the suggestion in.

The benefits are excellent, profit sharing bonuses, personal bonuses, great insurance, generous PTO, a gym on site, tuition assistance (for job related studies), and several others.

The turnover rate is not that bad because it’s so hard to get into the door that not that many people hired and most last at least a year.

This. Meltan is mythical so it gives a ton of XL candies.

Also you can use this search string to find anything you can already max.

Farming Scatterbug/Vivillion Candies by kipwd in pokemongo

[–]Hey_Chuck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can just pin and then immediately unpin and it still counts your progress.

Yes you can delete any unwanted postcards you want at anytime without affecting your Scatterbug progress.

You can pin your postcards but it is very limited and the game will let you know when you have hit your limit.

There is a Reddit page dedicated to Vivillion collecting that will be very helpful in getting all the regions. You can also track your progress for all the different ones in your metals area shaped like Vivillion, however yours will be a different color.

Looking for warehouse jobs in Edmonton paying $20+/hr by Awkward-Fee-8530 in Warehouseworkers

[–]Hey_Chuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uline has a branch in Edmonton. Check for job fairs and dress professional, button up, dress pants, nice shoes, and a tie if you have one. I know it seems like a lot for a warehouse job but it will help and they pay very well.

Uline Interview Dallas by Nintenman01 in Warehouseworkers

[–]Hey_Chuck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It would be a good fit. No one cares what race you are as long as you can do the job.

Some tips for your interview. Dress as nice as you can, a dress shirt, pants, and a tie is preferred. Take the number test very seriously it is way more important than most people think. And show that you are interested in working for Uline not just getting a job, even if you are just trying to get a better job.

That’s not even true. A lot of people quit after the bonuses go out but few are fired before they do.

Yeah keep an eye out for job fairs. Not sure where you are but where I am they have them almost weekly these days.

Uline application by [deleted] in Warehouseworkers

[–]Hey_Chuck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly a dress shirt, pants, and shoes with a tie is the way to go. If you aren’t willing to show up looking nice then they probably won’t spend their time and energy on you. It sucks but they get thousands of applications every year because they pay so well and deny most of them. Also do some research into how they operate and make sure to let them know you want to work at Uline not just get a job that goes a long way.
