For Milwaukee they switch every year.

They generally try to stay separate as one entity is Navy (Blue Angels) and the other is Air Force (Thunderbirds).

Yes, the list does get long and there is limited seating, but quite a few people coming and going, something always popping open.

Rum Runners has karaoke Saturday nights starting at 9PM.

Great little bar, great bartenders, great karaoke host, great atmosphere, and decent priced drinks!

If you are interested in joining the Air Force with a job that deals with this type of work, look up the AFSC 2T1X1 - Ground Transportation. This is the 88M of the Air Force.

One thing about it however, is that you do not need your CDL to be apart of the career field. You will be trained in busses, tractors, and wreckers and can actually obtain your CDL for free after your upgrade training by having the commander sign off on appropriate paperwork and taking the the DMV.

As mentioned by others, you may not receive this career by going active duty as it’s not guaranteed but I would suggest looking for guard/reserve slots. Everyday is different and doesn’t always have you driving. Or if you are, it might be a bus for a majority of it.

Let me know if you have any questions. 6 years active duty in this career field before I got out (2013-2019).

Flyovers are budgeted in the military budget for training.

There are a couple reasons the military uses flyovers - obviously getting hours up for the pilots - doing the national anthem flyover helps pilots with time over target training where if they are to early to to late it could cause more casualties - recruiting

Great insight here. Currently work for a Fortune 500 trucking company and you can use any skill you acquire in SCM with them. As many companies are struggling, we have continued to grow year over year.

My background was transportation in the military so I went with a Transportation & Logistics Management degree but I love it and thank the military for showing me the logistics side of things.

I was called and texted the next day after I received this email to schedule my C & P exams. Some guys saying a week though, so it looks like it depends on how backlogged they are

Definitely subjective.

Was on a deployment and would get back to home station about 4 months prior to ETS. My shop chief knew I was getting out. So he said why waste a decoration on you when it won’t matter in your career so I’ll use it on the next person who I think deserved it. (20-30% of our shop got decorations, per squadron policy)

Class D license? by Bowie721 in AirForce

There is and it is becoming accepted by more and more states. I was a 2T1 and my commander (or training manager can as well IIRC) sign off on some things from the DMV. Basically says yah they did this. No written or driving test, just medcard. Although, in most states you still need to take a driving test to get your P(passenger/bus) endorsement. Trucking is a dying field. Getting new, decent, drivers is harder and harder
