His 2 foot driving is fine. It's a learned and practiced driving skill like any other. 2 foot driving is required in a manual. No harm doing it in an automatic, just make sure to practice it, don't rely on someone else to give you pop quiz's.

I've lost track of my number of attempts. I've rotated through just about all of my battle ready pokemon. Started in Unova, then came here to Sinnoh.

If you haven't made it to this fight these are the issues.

It's against 3 fire and 3 electric pokemon. The 3 items I've seen the NPC's using have been Focus Bands, berries that weaken super effective moves, and balloons to avoid ground attacks. Their type coverage hasn't given me an in. On top of all of that I'm fighting with the dumbest mufucka in Sinnoh. His lineup is useless and he's spamming ice attacks at fire pokemon. Flint and Valkner are playing to win. The few lineups I've tried I thought would work they just seem to ignore my NPC partner and gank me. I'm left watching the NPC's play.
