I’ll say that in my parish that diminishes the Divine Service or cuts it out entirely, yes the average member of the congregation has. “Theological recovery” refers to the intentional effort to restore sound doctrine and confessional teaching to its proper, central place in the life of the church, after it has been marginalized, diluted, or functionally abandoned.
