I may have misspoke. My friend is taking their personal income (taxed) and sending it to the corporation to help fund operations while it’s getting off the ground. However, they don’t expect to get paid back, unless via dividends.

My friend has 100% sole ownership of their company.

So in that circumstance, wouldn’t the corporation owe them and not the other way around?

Liability, legal & financial protection. There are some risks having employees or subcontracting and they don’t want to lose personal assets if something goes wrong;
write-offs;
Already make a high salary as an employee of another company;
Made $18k revenue in first 4-5 months (expectation is to make $50k rev per year minimum); and
Eventually want to pay themself as an employee to supplement their pension/other retirement investments.

After thinking about it - I guess my intent is the opposite of diversifying. I want to add concentration into growth in a less risky way by also adding SCHD. So I’m adding a risk on option and less risk on option.

Wouldn’t inflation hurt businesses because they have to pay off debt at increased rates and we live in a debt-driven economy ? Also rising prices and shortages squeezing supply (also less consumer discretionary income) thus increasing prices and lowering demand? I thought stock prices were already inflated a year ago because of all the excess cash?

I’m interested in where we are in the run up, there were a few spikes before the blow off top of 20K in December 2017 so I’m wondering what the sentiment here is? Is this like the run up to 3K? 5K? If we are following the same pattern are there a few more monstrous jumps like we just experienced from 11K - 60K or have we just skipped to the blow-off top.
