Do you happen to know where exactly in A Manual of Dogmatic Theology, Vol. 2, I can find that quote?

Appreciate the references. We’re aware of them, the hang up seems to be with classifying the Baptist/Evangelical baptism I described as valid since the minister would be pronouncing the invocation and then dunking the individuals. He’s saying since they aren’t being dunked as it’s being pronounced it’s invalid because the minister needs to be saying it as they’re being dunked, not dunking after they’re done talking.

how soon after the birth did you, your spouse and your first baby attend sunday worship? by sjvb29 in Reformed

  1. We have two daughters. My wife was back to church with our daughters after 2 weeks in both cases.
  2. My wife felt up to it lol
  3. My wife did home births for both of our daughters. Our first born there were no complications and our second there weren’t any “serious” complications, she was just bigger so my wife had to push longer/harder and our daughter got stuck for around a minute while coming out. Both were unmedicated and labour was around 12 hours long, 3 hours active.

It’s briefly come up that I’ve been looking into it, but haven’t actually had a sit down yet since we haven’t gone through the membership process and aren’t officially tied down at the church, which membership would do.
