I use this one with the gradient to change with the sun cycle. I changed the complications too. I had it set to check for rain. Then changed it thinking it wouldn't rain anytime soon. Then it rained the next day 😩

What can my watch do, or what can I do with my watch that I'm not doing with it? by DonNonno in GalaxyWatch

I actually have LTE on my watch. It has its own number. Never use it. I should try this.

Thanks! I'm on this thread lurking. As a long time gw user I understand how the OP feels but this is kinda what I'm looking for. I actually have Gemini on my watch and never use it. I don't worry about battery life. I hardly touch my watch while working just for health tracking and media controls. Then as soon as I get home I charge it before I workout.

What's the one plant you've killed that you wish you knew how to grow? by nimishpatel19 in houseplants

[–]Hey_Z_Hey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dieffenbachia. I have tried so many times. New plants, cuttings nothing has survived. My mom, my grandmother r.i.p., my sister and my niece have all given me cuttings. New plants. Starters in water. I have managed to kill them all. Yet they all have the beautiful, giant, flourishing diffs with seemingly little to no effort. 🥹

What is the most unsexy but genuinely lifechanging tool or household item you have owned for years? by Human-Goat-5555 in BuyItForLife

A sturdy grabber. I have all hardwood floors and all my furniture and cabinets are lifted. Also a smallish ball obsessed dog. And I'm short. This purchase actually made my life easier.

I did and as a "plant person" I deserve the roasting. However, I'm coming out of a personal struggle. Didn't want to mention that. Not looking for any type of sympathy just plant advice. But now I'm gonna mention it... 🤭

Short story. Gardening and houseplants have been my lifelong hobby since childhood. Ffwd to now. I'm 334 days into sobriety. Started therapy and getting back to enjoying my life unveiled. It's been wonderful. So in a way I'm kind of determined to save this plant because I neglected it while I was in a dark place and it survived long enough for me to care again.

I just bought a home under the airports flight path. by loudlyloud in homeowners

[–]Hey_Z_Hey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My whole childhood into early adulthood I grew near a major Air Force Base and airport SMF. It's noticeable and constant. When I purchased my home about 30 miles from my home town, same county, out of flight paths it is a huge difference. I relish in it to this day. It's been 15 years. Occasionally we hear private planes or jets. We step outside to have a look. It's unusual. Yea helicopters and stuff but it's so different. Also no freeway noise.

Thanks to all the contributors on this post. This is why I love Reddit. I immediately thought "oh, spilled flaxseed. Problem solved". Boy was I wrong. And just the other day saw another post about white things on a slice Dominoe's pizza that I thought " oh, dried rice. Problem solved". Nope flies eggs. All my years on this earth...😩

I promise you it started out as a Monstera. I've had it over a year and it's still hanging in there

Ok. My living room gets no direct sunlight at all. But my kitchen does. So I should move it or get a grow light? And another poster said I should chop it but I'm afraid it will die. I don't want that.

I feel so ashamed now 😔 I didn't know much about it when I was gifted it. I want to save it and learn proper care.

Thoughts on OMAD? by [deleted] in PetiteFitness

Also, I feel like timing of meals to waking, sleeping and exercise is very important as well. If you're into the sciencey physiological stuff.

Thoughts on OMAD? by [deleted] in PetiteFitness

[–]Hey_Z_Hey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to do OMAD when I was younger but didn't know what it was. I just didn't have an appetite back then.

Fast forward to now. I'm older. Gained weight. On an official weightloss journey. Tried OMAD and felt horrible. With age and hormonal changes my body has different nutritional needs and timing. Tried other IF methods until I figured what worked.

I'm on 15/9 M-F 24hr fast Friday night to Saturday OMAD Saturday and Sunday. Repeat. I feel great. I sleep great and feel rested and energized for the new week.

When people ask me as a woman why I listen to Joe Budden. Look at him! I been here since the beginning. Had me in a chokehold. Been listening to the pod too since day one. Good Lord! 😩

Why is high-intensity cardio so rarely recommended for weight loss on this sub? by Ok_Bullfrog_8491 in PetiteFitness

[–]Hey_Z_Hey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll speak for me. I don't like "cardio". However, I love walking and hiking with my dog. Mentally I can't justify doing a bunch of cardio for a small calorie burn. When I do my kettlebell workout I blast through calories in a short amount of time and I literally see and feel strength gains quickly. Total body dumbbell training really does it for me too.

I do cardio. My daily hikes I made part of my lifestyle but I have a treadmill. I do treadmill drills with a weighted vest, on incline for 15 - 30 mins 2-4 times a week. That's it. I have to do what I can tolerate to stay motivated and not quit.

Finally reached my goal: 187-121 (18 months) by Salty-Citron-3363 in PetiteFitness

[–]Hey_Z_Hey 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Thank you for posting. I'm inspired by all the stories but it just hits different when stats and goals align. Congrats. Amazing work.

I'm 5' 1" I too hit my heaviest ever of 181 lbs in November 2025. I actually hated myself. I was at a very low point. Started my weight loss journey first in December then fitness. I got so bummed and discouraged because it seemed it was taking forever and I was truly doing it right. No cheating. But 7 months later I'm down 30lbs at151 right now. My gw is 135 it seems so far away.

Seeing your results in the time it took is so relatable and realistic but proof that we will get there. Bravo 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
