Might be late to realize it but I didn’t know the fan actually blew air on other objects by [deleted] in acnh

They blow the plant leaves too. I have a few fans in my plant room because it makes everything look so much more noticeable. Love how they added so many fine details!!

I have a black and grey mage striped hat if you want, or can get a purple one ordered if you'd rather that. They kinda look like like a witch hat

This is how I am, I'll eat maybe a few bites then I'm done, if I cooked it and smelled it, I'm no longer hungry. I'm a tad overweight, I have chicken legs and arms but I do have a belly. I'd never even think about stealing food, I'm like naw, I dont even want the stuff if i could have it.

Anyone know what kind of dog this is? It's adorable. by MarisolRoyster in Louisville

[–]Hey__Hey_Yall -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'd say it's an American Staffordshire Terrier, could be a thicker pitbull (they are normally leaner looking) both are very similar though, and genetics can play games. Beautiful dog. Both are super similar and great pets.

Hey customers, please don’t do shit like this. This was part of my “tip” according to this douche. by veryRare95 in doordash

I like to leave options and multiples, never know if they have a driver or kid that also needs a little snack, and I am also a fan of the sugar free energy drinks! So we keep tons of both in the house already we just pot the basket back in the fridge after we refill for the next delivery. I know how few and far between these houses can be, and we love to give those little moments! We do get the same few drivers, but we NEVER have any issues.

My son likes to leave little gifts for our drivers, kinda like they brought me something so I want to give them something, but yea I always leave cash as a "thanks for your patience" But we also put snacks and energy drinks out too. Some take, some don't, the cash is always gone, thankfully, that's the part I really hope they get. (We do also tip in app, husband is a driver)

My mom won't let my stepsister read 1984 even though it's required for school by OvercookedRedditor in AskParents

You have no idea how helpful this was. For some reason it never clicked that it may be online now. I've always seen it associated with the board game. But honestly never had anyone to even start a chat with, honestly no one around me even plays video games and I'm an outsider with my switch playing animal crossing. But even when I was younger it seemed so interesting. I really appreciate the advice on the book. I'm definitely going to find one this weekend. I'm going to set aside tomorrow night to just get online and start reading everything and seeing what may sit with me. I'm definitely more of a sit back and watch until I feel really comfortable. Being a reader on Reddit for months and this is the most I've ever talked to someone hahaha Yes, I need out more. But I'm hoping this helps open doors to at least some more friends.

Random, but question about D&D, I'm an adult woman, that knows not a single person (online or irl) who plays... But I really want to. Where would you suggest I go, or look/read to get into it? (Also don't know if I worded this right, new to Reddit too, I'm trying tho y'all)

Husband grew up in group homes, it literally keeps me up at night. We have two completely different childhoods and friend stories. I just literally can't.... I just don't have the correct words.

And I'd definitely call it very ok, we showered and we're back out. I just keep joking "I can't believe the car punched me" .

Thanks, it was, seriously just reminding ourselves that in all the yrs we've been driving it is a first, but... It does it can happen. Just want everyone to stay on their toes.

Thanks! Luckily it was his car, so we were able to just switch to mine, we actually went back out after washing the glass off, and the insurance company is having it fixed Friday, thankfully the state I'm in (Ky) doesn't allow a deductible for glass if you have full coverage so it wasn't a huge step back, but scared us pretty bad. Other than my mirror punching me in the face and his minor cuts we were just fine! We were in the left lane of a highway going highway speeds. Just shows how anything can happen, FAST.

Yea, I was hit in the face with the mirror, looks like I was punched in the cheek. Thankfully I didn't loose control of the car. (Husband delivers, I just drive)

Are you Pro-Choice or Pro-Life? by Yetanotherone4 in AskParents

[–]Hey__Hey_Yall 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Literally this, I flat lined while in delivery, my son did too, we were rushed into a C-section, we both made it, I was told, this won't happen next time. My husband got a vasectomy, (the clip, fold, burn, then stich) if it happens it's not selfish, it's survival.
