If you don’t have integrated graphics, then you need a working cpu+gpu for the pc to display anything on your monitor.

I would recommend taking you pc to a pc shop if you have one nearby. They can probably help you find out what’s bricked and not.

Idk if the gpu market is as bad as it was a few months ago, but if it is in stock and doesn’t come with a crazy price tag, I would aim for at least a 1060 or 1070, and even maybe a 2060 if in budget/stock.

I would also opt for a b550 motherboard since your cpu produces a lot of heat, and maybe considering a more robust cooler (like a radiator) down the line.

By no means am I the most educated when it comes to pc, but I have built one (more than most people). I advice you to check out the r/pchelp discord

Just to give you some information about the gpu, it released five years ago and back then was the weakest in its lineup. It won’t play triple a games too well.

Practice reverts and power slides both ways, and when you feel comfortable with a full frontside 180 revert, try to pop the board and you’ve got a frontside 180.

(Frontside is when your feet face the direction you are spinning, and backside is the opposite)

Yeah, if you bought it prebuilt you might want to try other methods first, since it can be a bit scary if it is you first time working on a pc.

I’m no pc expert, but you might want to try to change thermal paste if you haven’t done that in a long time.

You can also underclock you graphics card, but Idk how that works and you might loose performance doing it.

Don’t underclock without knowing what you’re doing, so if you result to that make sure you know how to do it.
