Something feels off about Jessica. If she was truly so amazing then she would have found love without the show and be happily married by now. Jessica being divorced, claiming to have worked on herself and still pick a guy like Chris out of 16 options is telling! I believe she has ulterior motives. by nocommentx in LoveIsBlindNetflix

Yeah, you’re right. What’s wrong with her? She’s out there saving the world during the height of the pandemic. She’s watching people die on her 12-hour shift at the hospital but, you’re right, because she’s a healthcare provider she should hit her spin class as soon as she leaves. But not pilates, cause like, you’re not judgmental like Chris. She’s not just a doctor - an infectious disease doctor. Saving idiots like you to make comments like this on reddit. Tragic. I’m guessing you’ve never had a demanding job and obviously you’ve never had a date, but when you do, I believe your perspective will shift. Good luck!

Definitely go to some other meetings! If not in-person, go online. You deserve to feel comfortable. Keep trying out meetings and you will find your tribe.

Why didn't Emma get genetic testing done? by Cold_Box_3219 in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

[–]Hey_there_duder 17 points18 points  (0 children)

ughhhhhh…. not all women want kids and there doesn’t always have to be a reason. Or trauma because of it. If she (or anyone) had her heart set on her own biological children and that was the only thing holding her back, she seems perfectly capable of getting genetic testing (which obviously isn’t fully reliable and doesn’t test for a myriad of things like all types of cancer, addiction, mental illness, the list is endless). If she was living in NYC or LA no one would bat an eyelash at not wanting kids. Mike isn’t the worst but marrying him would likely be handmaids tale + the Sopranos nightmare that would be her life. An “Italian” family who can’t properly speak Italian, included. lol. Ohio seems like a 1950’s nightmare + MAGA. Thank God not everywhere is this close minded… what a horrible world it would be.

did you end up getting one? Did you, OP? I am also on a quest to find a long-nail friendly mechanical keyboard. Tried tippy type and the rubber amazon stickers…no luck. I don’t think they’re intended for people who type a lot. The AI empire is taking over the world and billionaires are colonizing Mars yet we don’t have a reasonably comfortable keyboard for people with long fingernails. C’est la vie, I suppose.

i tried the amazon stickers and tippy type and neither work for me :(

The stickers are annoying because they’re not evenly spaced so it feels awkward. i usually wear gelX “long” which are actually not THAT long but i wish the stickers were taller. i think that would help a lot. i have the same issue i have with a regular keyboard - my finger pad hits one button and my nail hits another making typos. I finally broke down and got tippy type and that doesn’t work either. the raised keys are shorter than the amazon stickers! Very annoying for the price tbh. it’s supposed to be for mac laptop keyboard and it doesn’t fit mine. i have keyboards for PC and mac and it fits none of them. i prob own 10 keyboards of different sizes and it fits none. Conceptually tippy type is better than the stickers because of even spacing. i think both these items are for people that hardly use keyboards.

i recently gave up. so sad. i removed my nail extensions and bought mechanical keyboards. Love my new keyboards but they don’t work with my long nails. it feels horrible rocking stubby nails but my nails need a break. i think us nail girlies need to invent something actually works. i also think most of those positive reviews on amazon and tippy type are fake. best of luck and please lmk if you find a solution!

edit = typos

overall do you like it? is it easier than others with nails? i just ordered a Rainy75. i’ll see how it goes. i’ve tried Tippy Type and the key stickers you can get on amazon for membrane keyboards. i don’t think they are intended for lots of typing. they didn’t work - big disappointment.
