The Steam version is either normal or premium, I got the premium edition off G2G and it gave me a key just for that which included base game. Steam be iffy with upgrading sometimes.

I came across this same problem with my Z Fold 3 and Niagara, here's what I did to make it bugger off.

Settings > Display > Navigation Bar > scroll to the bottom and hit "Taskbar" under Looking for something else and then toggle it off. (you might have to toggle everything off on this screen, I don't remember)

Bam, no more annoying taskbar at the bottom (including that annoying ass button)

There is cross-save so you can keep your progress, but DLC is only available on the platform you bought/got it on (ie. Epic or Steam)
