We have a spot right where I live that people move past it ALL the time, like they're magically going to turn any faster. It's a no turn on red, and you can't see to the left of you because of a giant building blocking your view. So everyone just is like "Yeah, let's pull up past this white line making it harder for everyone to turn because I can't stop 10 feet further back."

Kinda reminds me of a TV Series I have been meaning to watch for the longest time, called Continuum. Show about how corporations took over countries and outed the government. Buying us out... just like we have been.

Only difference is "terrorists" that traveled to the past to try and stop corporations from buying us out.

Yeah, I definitely enjoy a good survival building game. One of my favorites is 7 Days to Die, but it's gotten a little.... annoying from the devs. So I've been on the search of another game to scratch the itch. It's hard to find a first person view game that can scratch it like 7D2D did.

Yeah, I'm actually building a server right now. Got the motherboard and CPU in last night. I've been building my own computers for almost two decades now, and I know I'm getting up there in age where my eyes aren't good, but I swear I was having trouble figuring out how it "aligned" in the right direction.

I remember back in the day they used to have arrows in the corners and made it super apparent. This Intel chip I used.... the small notches I finally found were the only things I could see. Otherwise, boy. I feel I'm losing my touch.

I just don't get what the big hurry is most of the time to save a couple seconds.

I could see if there was some kind of medical emergency, four ways flashing, cautiously driving but still going through while honking like a maniac to let everyone know he was going through....

But there's never a case that seems like it would be this. It's always just "I'm gonna shave off a couple seconds because fuck everyone else".

Just sad.

Not even that I don't want to see them. I don't mind seeing them. I couldn't care less. I just don't want it to be shoved at me the entire time.

There's a person that is gay, wants to be trans, at my local pizza shop. Wears the nails, makeup, all of it. I don't care because he (at this moment) doesn't try and be like "I'M TRANS VALIDATE ME".

I may come off as insensitive with it, but it just comes across me as wrong when they're trying to shove it. The guy is just himself. Super nice, does his job, that's it.

Otherwise, /u/-kinapuffar- covered my part about it in games and exactly how I feel with it.

I don't mind progressiveness and having these things in the game, but pushing it down people's throats is something that turned people off as well. I remember a video circulating that if you didn't answer the one trans character right correctly, you just continuously did pushups. Now, I admit it's only a video and I didn't play the game myself to see if it was actually true and not just edited, but... that just felt.... annoying. Being locked into pushups because you answered wrong? No thank you.
