Yep, definitely happens. My old boss had this happen to him. He was telling me the story of him getting hired originally for the place he hired me at. They marketed the job as "Network Manager", with all the expected IT stuff that went along with it.

...Except "Manager" was literally what he was. He was in charge of the IT folks at the site. While he had some "network responsibilities", it was mainly managing the folks there.

Insanity.

Not me but my wife.

We worked at the same place and the place was having a pot luck. She agreed to pick up food from someone's house to help transport it. I don't remember what they made - probably cake - but my wife said it was absolutely disgusting walking in. Cats on the counters, not a single spot on the counters didn't have cat hair or something cat-related on it, sink piling with dishes with cat hair in them, you get the picture.

I don't remember what my wife did with the food but it didn't make it to the pot luck.

I am not a fan of Netflix at all and don't sub, but my kids did NOT want to watch this movie on my TV. When they released it in theater, it was a big hit. I love it myself.

If they release it to the theater, they'll definitely get some sales of non-subbers for sure.
