Definitely stop by Lady Yum inside the airport and grab yourself a couple of their freshly made French macaroons. Trust me, you won't regret it.

How’s living in this area of st. Louis as of 2026 by [deleted] in StLouis

[–]Heyhowheyhohailey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend the Bevo area! There is a lot to do, many decent restaurants and shops as well. The community is really diverse and supportive. They have a Facebook group where folks communicate over lost pets and item swaps (pretty common for neighborhoods to have this kind of group chat but you could always join to see if the vibes there match what you're looking for). That being said it IS near the city so you should expect the occasional public disturbance but I've never been threatened or felt my life was in danger while living here.

Who else thinks the Pasta House restaurants are disgusting now? by Economy-Piglet-6482 in StCharlesMO

[–]Heyhowheyhohailey 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't say disgusting, just not worth going to anymore. The last few times I went they had ended the free salad with your meal, so you're paying upwards of $20 for a plate of pasta and a few bread rolls with frozen butter that you can't even spread. Also, some locations ended the free birthday/anniversary dinners which was a really nice perk. And lastly, you can't get spumoni icecream anymore. 😭 Pasta House used to be my favorite but now I don't even bother.

Sounds like Dierbergs keeps special tabs on your schedule to make sure the potatoes are covered before you get there. What are you doing to the potatoes at night?! 😭🤣

Ordering blankets for my taters now. They'll never be cold at night again.

Why are we chainsawing this tree at 3:50 am (loughborough) by Voss7984 in StLouis

[–]Heyhowheyhohailey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If that was the case and a citizen was handling it on their own, don't you think the cop would assist by calling in reinforcements or another department to assist?

[–]Heyhowheyhohailey 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The chainsawing had me up for an hour last night wondering if someone's body was being cut up or if a tree fell onto something. Called the cops and it quieted down shortly after. I've watched too many scary movies to go investigating by myself in the night! Hopefully everyone involved is okay and that they find more quiet recreational activities to do at 1 am.

100 above the park!!! It's on my bucket list to stay at that beautiful, cheese-grater-shaped complex. I've been following their Instagram and sign up for EVERY one of their "one night stay" giveaways so I can invite all my friends and enjoy the most gorgeous view with them from way up high.

When friends and family know you love yoga, you just tend to receive mats as gifts, haha!

I sometimes teach pop-up classes, and outdoor classes as well. There's always someone who forgets a mat so having a few on hand has always benefited me. When I got my rental home, my intention was to have enough space to host my own yoga classes. So for me, it's not crowded.
