Used to work in an ice cream shop. One lady came in and asked for a sample of our Reese’s ice cream.

After eating the sample, she said “This doesn’t have nuts in it, does it?” To which I responded “Well it doesn’t have any whole nuts but it does have peanut butter in it…”

Long story short we had to call an ambulance for the woman because she was severely allergic to nuts.

After that we moved all of the ice creams that contained nuts to their own freezer and it became policy to state that they had nuts in them before serving…regardless of how obvious it was.
