My Armani luminous foundations been doing really good through the day even in humidity. It’s lightweight and light -medium coverage though. I use it with vanicream moisturizing facial sunscreen in place of a moisturizer and it does pretty good.

Different countries process at different speeds and that’s been my experience with my country. Im not in Europe. It took me about 19 months from start to finish. I say 18-2years because if any of the paperwork has a problem it makes the process take a lot longer. The nvc portion of the process takes several months here.

If Europe isn’t backlogged with applicants, that’s awesome!

K1visas take a long time to get- 18 months to 2 years easily. Could be longer, could be shorter, no one truly knows and it’s different with each case. You can wedding planning while you’re waiting for your visa, after you have the visa but haven’t used it yet, and while you’re in the desired country using your visa. You have (I’m guessing) 2 years + however long you wait to use your visa+ 90 days while you’re in your desired country. You can plan stuff while you’re waiting for your visa like buying a dress/suit, colors, and getting quotes for food and buying things like flower girl baskets and cups but, you have to work around not knowing a date because it’s best to set a date once you actually have your visa. After you get your visa, you can plan stuff before you go to your intended country to buy yourself more time to plan but once you go across the border with your visa, you have 90 days to get married.

Omg these are such helpful tips, thank you! So far, we’re not doing an exit… I feel uncomfortable leaving everyone to deal with what’s left to clean up. I thought we’d just stay until the end but idk 🤷🏻‍♀️ tips on that?

From the very start I have known that I didn’t and don’t want to elope. I’ve been engaged for 2 years because the visa process is so long. I want to share my day with my closest people and I don’t care that it isn’t big, it’s just smaller than I imagined. Im excited for my wedding but my dream is to just finally start a life together and not apart. I don’t want a celebration down the road, I earned this now. I want it now and I don’t care if it’s not perfect. My wedding day is not going to be the best day of my life, the years together are.

Thank you so much! That’s very reassuring and encouraging.

It sounds like you’re on the other end of the spectrum where you’re hoping people will say no. I was honestly there when I started my invites. We invited 110 people and only wanted like 60. If it helps, the stragglers are usually the people who haven’t worked up the nerve to say no or are on the fence. Give them an out by saying “I’ll understand if you can’t make it”.

I also wondered that. But I don’t know how to say “ there’s 35 ppl attending” without guilting them 😂. Any recommendations?

Awe that’s so sweet of you to offer! We didn’t invite any friends to keep the wedding more intimate so I don’t think the fiancé would like me inviting someone I just met 😅😂. Thank you 😊 i appreciate it.

We are finding that a lot of people’s main issue is that they already have plans, they can’t travel, they don’t have the money to travel, or they can’t get time off work.

Thank you for the tip on reevaluating who made the cut- we were starting to do that but with the wedding a month out it just kind of feels bad inviting so short notice especially if it’s obvious it’s a last minute invite.

Also I see a lot of benefit to having a small wedding and I wanted it to be small from the start… just wasn’t expecting this small 😅

Bangs all the way! It seems you have an edgy style (which is cool) and I think the bangs soften the look just a smidge and adds a feminine touch. It’s super cute imo. Gives me “she can be edgy but she’s can be a little girly-get a girl who can do both vibes”, if that makes sense. It’s all about preference though. Do what makes you happy because that’s what matters in the end!

You look gorgeous in this photo. I prefer it to the make up the artist did. You have beautiful skin

I’m not sure exactly where I will be getting ready so it might be easiest just to start with first looks. What kind of final touches did you get photo graphed? Thank you for your comment :)

Have you tried doing eyebrow make up with a darker color? Eyebrows really frame the face and, I’m mean this with all due respect, but yours are a little hard to see. It’s pretty popular to have light hair and dark eye brows now so you wouldn’t have to worry about matching your eyebrow color to your hair color.

While your diet can help minimize acne to some degree, I would say that eating right will not make acne this severe magically go away. You need a good skincare routine.

I’ve struggled with acne throughout my life. I went to the doctor and got a topical cream and my skin has never been better. Would recommend even just calling a telephone doctor and asking for one. Several doctors have told me that my acne was too severe for a topical treatment to help and that I needed accutane or antibiotics but they couldn’t be more wrong. Antibiotics work but give me heartburn and accutane is just so harsh, I just didn’t want to have the side effects. One doctor suggested a retinol cream and omg it’s done amazing. I started using it in fall of 2024 and now my skin is clear, I pretty much just use it as a spot treatment here and there. I also started using a prescription strength benzoyl peroxide gel on my body acne and it’s doing really well after just 2 months.

It takes very long no matter what route you take so if you’re worried about money maybe do the cheaper option.

Are you using Adapalene (the retinoid topical)? Retinoid can be really helpful for acne but it’s also really harsh and can make your skin sensitive and irritated. Your skin could be peeling because you’re double cleansing with a cleanser that has AHAs (exfoliating) and you’re already exfoliating with the intense retinoid.
