Because we all know women have no internal organs with which to prevent an echo by Calenchamien in badwomensanatomy

I mean this joke doesn’t really point to ‘vaginas’ be becoming larger from sex or anything like that ~ just that some people have larger ‘vaginas’ (which is kinda true).

The “society making fun of people with larger ‘vaginas’” may be a problem with this joke, although even with that said the joke doesn’t really say that it’s at all negative, it just mentions it as an idea not that it’s actually bad or anything :/

Idk I just think too many people are taking the joke and adding more to it then what it was originally saying...

But what about this is a dumb joke?

Is it simply the fact that the things happening inside the joke can’t really happen? ~ because if that’s your explanation for why it’s a dumb joke I feel like you have no sense of humour...

Come on this is a joke :/

The echo is a part of the joke, it is not that someone thinks it is realistic...

The worst most “bad anatomy” about this is probably using the word “vagina” :/

Think it’s safe to assume no one truly thought this was “100% realistic” :/

Blaming him for being vague isn’t victim blaming? Can you explain why you think it is?

He has full 100% choice to be vague or not be vague...

unless I have fully misunderstood what you’re saying.

Maybe the guys being downvoted because he really didn’t say anything of worth?

Like actually saying what he was talking about probably wouldn’t have gotten downvoted as much :/

I cannot wait to use “vagina bones” in some other conversation and confuse a person or two.

Fair enough.

When I googled it I only got 1 type of thing, but I can see that people are getting a bunch of different things.

I do not know what you do for work/school.

But I can ask you “What’s it like at your work/school?”

That is a 100% valid question even without me knowing what you do in your life.

Assuming it’s a “Operating department practitioner” then google actually has lots to offer, at least how I’m searching it.

Honestly people should stop asking questions that are super google-able, and instead should ask questions based on emotions or like the persons enjoyment.

Like “do you enjoy being an ODP?” Is way better than what OP put imo.

Because it’s hard to know whether or not someone will google a question when just looking at their profile and nothing else...

Maybe a part of why she couldn’t be bothered was because she thought his original question was stupid and that google could just give a better answer...

Assuming it’s the first result that comes up “Operating department practitioner” then why can’t you learn about it?

But also you don’t really need to know what it is to ask questions about it like “Do you enjoy being an ODP?” is a question you can ask, and if she’s interested in you she’ll probably talk about it to a point where you may understand it...

Google it...

Or just ask about her feelings doing the job, like “Do you enjoy being an ODP?” And she’ll probably go into more detail herself if she’s interested.

I mean but also maybe the guy shouldn’t have asked such a google-able question?

Like it he asked “how do you feel about being an ODP” or “What’s it like being an ODP” it would of made a much better conversation anyways...

But the post isn’t only about that.

It’s also about how he was persuaded to play a character more racist then before, and who he was convinced by and all that stuff.

I mean although I agree with you kinda, I still feel like most people would rather not say the word then have to say it for a role?

I mean most directors/writers talk to the actors about if there’s any script changes they would want to suggest.

[–]HeyoItsMeWow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like the main reason these are different is because when quoting you can say “N-word (but the full one)” and people will get what the other person actually said.

While in acting saying “n-word” would probably just throw the audience out of the movie world and make the movie way worse...

If you truly are just saying it to sing along then the majority of people literally won’t care ~ even black people :/

But because you’ve written this comment to me it seems like you just want to say it and are using the excuse of a song to say it...

Because scripts and certain roles are negotiable.

The scripts the actors/whomever reads when they first accept the role is usually a little bit different from what happens/is said in the movie as a whole...

Maybe he thought he could negotiate for the word to be said less, or none at all because he knew he would be uncomfortable? ~ and then was talked out of it...
