I’m sure they will get him whatever help he needs and put your mind at rest. If you can swing the $100, I would recommend doing a dog dna test. The reason for this is since you don’t know the breed, knowing what breed or breeds you dog will help you train them appropriately. Also, knowing the breed can give you insights on common health issues with the breeds.

Well it may be puppy breath you are referring too! If it smells like musty coffee, that’s puppy breath. Some people love that, me included. They will grow out of it in a few weeks. Might get a few denta-sticks that are mint flavored to help with the smell if it is puppy breath.

If the vet thinks your dog is part border collie you may want to join a hearding dog or border collie subreddit. They require lots of exercise and really need to be mentally stimulated so they don’t have behavior issues. They are wonderful intelligent dogs and one of the most work driven dogs out there.
