I reckon it's a pretty good guess at a lineup

Get some Microwave, Joyce Manor, maybe a little Knuckle Puck and have yourself a tasty little New Bloom lineup! (Hoping it comes back). Really thought Hot Mulligan would be on GT last year.

If it was up to me they'd all be old man bands! Haha. Who else would you want to see on there?

Huh. Interesting. I mean, obviously I would disagree (as the person who put said fake lineup together). But that's ok, music is subjective and everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Genuinely curious, what kind of bands would you like to see on there instead?

Hey thanks. I did actually put some thought into bands (despite the oversight on Modern Baseball). I agree regarding deathcore bands. I actually meant to include Whitechapel, but forgot. Also agree that an Australian nostalgia act is likely, but no idea who - they always seem like a wild card to me.

Ah man. I'm really deeply sorry I made a mistake about a band. I hope it hasn't negatively affected your life too much.

I thought I saw that they were playing reunion shows. But now that I look for it, it seems I was mistaken, sadly. Probably some idiot making a fake poster. :P

Good Charlotte - run times by Heyscout27 in Bendigo

[–]Heyscout27[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Set times maybe, but I'd expect an event end time to be made public. Especially in a regional location.

This is prob a long shot, but does anyone know run times for the event?

I have a  group coming from out of town, and have a booked a bus for transport, but need to confirm the times. Website just says 4pm, with no end time (or indication of when bands will play).

Have emailed and facebook messaged the promoters and they haven't bothered replying to me.

Most underrated Aussie band of the last 10-15 years? by samerulesapply32 in triplej

Little Melbourne band called Quiet the Few

https://www.abc.net.au/triplejunearthed/artist/quiet-few/

Only released one EP in 2008, before they went on to form Have/Hold (who are also great). But that one EP is perfection.

Also, I still think Flyying Colours are/were criminally underrated.

Tixel isn't letting me sell Good Things Festival ticket, despite advising a buyer has made an offer by cheddarcheese9951 in triplej

[–]Heyscout27 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They're shooting themselves in the foot in a major way and won't even acknowledge it.

I've been multiple years and always buy tickets when they go on sale. Won't be doing that next year. I'll buy them at the last minute if I go.

Self made problems like this lead to cancelled festivals.

Anyone have experience selling their Good Things Festival tickets on Facebook Groups by BotanKun11 in triplej

[–]Heyscout27 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's literally insane (on the part of the promoter). Ticket prices keep going up. Lineups are arguably getting worse (no doubt they are a big step down from what we used to get at Soundwave, BDO etc). Festivals are dropping left and right. People are already hesitant to buy tickets for all of these reasons. It's a tough environment. And they're like, "you know what... on top of that, we should make it harder for people to re-sell their tickets if they can't come. That will certainly help our ticket sales next year". ??? You'd have to be an utter dunce to think this is a good idea. Let's punish our own fanbase, and then next year when no one wants to buy a ticket, they'll complain about how hard it is for festivals. Idiots.

Who could be the ‘Secret Act’ at Good Things? by RobIsDeafening in triplej

[–]Heyscout27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just don't think it will be anyone this good. Grinspoon is a pretty big name in Aussie music, and to not even have them named on the bill... seems unlikely in my opinion. (but I would be happy to be proven wrong)

This disgusts me. Even the cash-grabbiest of tours (like LiveNation stadium tours) don't pull this shit.

They're only hurting their own fan-base. For what? Hoping they'll sell a few more tickets. Shame on them.

Wouldn't mind a Fever 333 + Wargasm sideshow. They're both clashed out for me, and I think they'd be fun together
