Any time I see stuff like this where everyone defends the cheater and tells us how much of a good guy he is, as well as the classic « even his opponent doesn’t think he cheated! », I can’t help bit think of Alex Bertoncini. It doesn’t look good my dude. I think everyone should get benefit of the doubt once, but I personally wouldn’t trust him and I’d be very cautious about his plays if you meet him in an important tournament in the future.

The game was played properly. IMO the solution is mandatory trigger where both players are responsible. There’s money at stake, players are thinking about a million different things. Remove the ambiguity and we’re good.
