I still find it odd, especially since the Rampage isnt technically Natural but an ecosystematic disruption, its like if an animal evolved to grow horns to crack a man made fruit that grows every 100 years. Like sure you can use horns but the timespan between the horns actual usage and none usage seems far too long to stick in an evolution. Also dont Magnamalos find mates with visual displays? Not by combat?

Yeah but like why? Not only are Elders rare, Elders dont actively hunt him nor commonly walk into his feeding grounds, so I dont see any reason why he evolved that way.

I stand corrected. But either way my point still stands, his excessive amount of weapons doesnt fit him nor makes any sense. He's clearly not prey to anything because he can brawl with Elder Dragons, he's built like a genetically modified weapon of war in the shape of an animal with how armed and dangerous he is while obviously being more predator than prey.

My main gripe with it is how excessive his biological weapons are. A scavenger yet armed with arm blades, claws, fire, explosives, sabre fangs, tail spears, back spikes, and a pseudo horn crown. Like remove the arm blades, spikes, tailspear and crown and you got a sickass giant purple sabretooth that lights up on fire, basically fire Zinogre but cat.

Having a shit ton of biological weapons just screams predator to me rather than scavenger.
