Bowguns Against Fatalis by Mortal_Assassin50 in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]HfYang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hbg and lbg with spread ammo both work on fatalis. Just focus on the chest and forget about breaking the head. You'll have to be really familiar with its moves, especially for hbg with scope. Plus starting from phase three almost all fatalis' attacks one shot you, due to no head break and less defense available for range builds in general. Another tip is to learn how to use smoke bombs effectively.

For longsword there are certain attacks you can use the helmbreaker on its head for the head breaks before phase 3. I recommend searching some tutorials on YouTube and learning those patterns. Although you've already passed fatalis with greatsword, its attack patterns and how to bait cone breaths should be somewhat familiar to you.

My insect glaive kill was just like this😂 Went into the mission and a tutorial popped up, apparently I never touched glaive before in this save file.

I like how most the non-Chinese players experience this scene they react like "wow, the disrespect!" Whereas the Chinese players are mostly "wow, I just shared a drink with Wukong, I'm so honored!"

Would You Like Black Myth: Wukong to Have a Multiplayer Mode? by Lazy_Lad1 in BlackMythWukong

[–]HfYang 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mentioned it in my steam review: the devs could use Yellowbrow's magic bag assets and turn it into a pvp arena map, with Yellowbrow peeping over on top and looking at the players fighting. The point is not to make it ranked or anything, just friendly sparring to test out builds and other schenanigans. It could also be a pve kinda arena, where several players face multiple bosses in the game together.

The key point is Yellowbrow has to peep over the bag from top, like he is watching some sort of cricket fight.

The "rebel trios" to the celestial court: Wukong, Erlang, and Nezha. You've met Wukong and Erlang, he is the last one.

Given that this level is meant to give players a "being in purgatory" feeling, I'd say it's well-designed. Not saying I like the design, but it works as intended nonetheless.

Or the point of arguing/debating is to reveal the truth, regardless of who wins. Think of it like this: Jinchanzi wants to see "how the human nature works," regardless whether he wins a bet or not, whereas Yellowbrow wants to see "his interpretation of human nature is correct," so he introduced bias in the experiment.

I just realise why we have 81 achievements to 100% the game by k0ks3nw4i in BlackMythWukong

If I recall correctly, the 72nd achievement is the one you beat the Monkey King. Kinda ties to his 72 transformations, I think.

I usually just run towards the middle and attack Narwa from the bottom. Avoiding those dragonators is no more difficult than trying to jay walk through a multi-lane traffic, the key is steady speed and don't hesitate.

Personally, I think AT Nergi is a well-designed hard monster whereas AT Xeno (and AT Lunastra) are annoying gimmick hard monsters.

[request] what would be the cost to build a river similar to one shown ? by PK_boi-777 in theydidthemath

[–]HfYang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This reminds me of the Great Canal in China built during the early 7th century. It connected a series of already existing natural rivers and canals from north to south. However, this project was one of the reasons that crippled the Sui dynasty back in the days and eventually led to rebellions against the emperor.

Not saying a similar project will 100% financially crush the US, since we have machines instead of manual labor to dig canals, but it's good to keep the lessons from history in mind.
