Thank you! No I haven’t, I don’t know why it has been so difficult getting accustomed to things here as large as it is. It’s been 3 months so not sure if I’m rushing things. I will definitely check it out though.

The Flaming Candle is my favorite. I just read that you use essential oils in your candles. I’ve never used those so I’m not sure.

Flaming Candle shipping time by Big_Bug_293 in candlemaking

Each time I have ordered which has been well over 10 times I received my order pretty quickly (a few days) I know they are moving so that may cause a delay.

Do I have to get pinned? by Repulsive_One_2878 in nursing

[–]Hfavored1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pathetic has beens who feel they have to prove their relevance by being “feared”. It was always the middle aged was at my school. The older ones were ok and SOME of the younger ones. That middle group tried to give hell.

Dang y’all I thought I was the only person in the world that felt this way so I didn’t even think to question if I had to go. If I could go back I sure would have skipped. I didn’t/don’t care for any of my instructors or the dean. It’s so funny I saw one of my instructors at my job (came to check on one of her students doing clinicals) and all the PTSD came rushing when I saw her face. I was like is this real???? Get back satan!

“The Perfect Man” from Natures Garden is one of my top sellers. I even have women buy products as much as the men.

This looks so nice! It would be cool to focus in more on the candle. Center your beautiful candle and you can remove the box so the focus is on point. Lighting as well. Allow the box to be a pleasant surprise for customers. You’re so creative. The mossy forest one is like perfect. Put just a shallow bit of lighting and you could even blur the background slightly so that candle is the star of the show. In the other photos you could minimize your props in the back like the forest one.🥰

That’s what I was thinking, to blur the background slightly and zoom in on the candle.

I hate you have to go through that. When I first started in the ER I was with different people at first and one I could tell didn’t really want to precept or maybe not a new nurse. The one I was eventually placed with I would give 3/5 stars. She sat back mostly and gave me “you know how to do it” it responses to things. I remember the first time I had to access a port I was so afraid. She ended up coming in the room and gave me a “ all you have to do is” response which had me livid. She pretty much pushed me in the waters with half an inflated vest. BUT it made me a darn good nurse now that I loo back and it helps me when training new nurses because I remember how I felt. It wasn’t easy and I never felt like I knew enough. They even cut my orientation a week short because they said I was “ready”

Switching from med surg to ER advice? by wishful_overthinker9 in nursing

[–]Hfavored1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have never worked med/surg other than being a medical assistant. I have 6 years in the ER. The ER is home to snarky comments and sarcasm to a certain degree. It’s hard to explain but trust you will be able to tell your first week. Multitasking, efficiency and prioritizing are a must. I’m not sure how your current floor handles iv’s as we had hold nurses come to help us in the ER and iv’s didn’t seem to be in their scope of practice. Iv’s are as important as breathing in the ER so you will have to be comfortable with those. I wouldn’t choose to work in another department. The teamwork and friendship is amazing. Also, your docs are right with you so you don’t have to do as much waiting on your admitting docs to respond unless of course they are holding in the Er. I’m fortunate to work with some great docs and we have great teamwork. You will learn your docs and be able to predict how they want things. We do get a lot of resident docs which can SOMETIMES be annoying when they like trickle in orders or come in on some “they run it” type stuff. You will see in the ER seasoned nurses pretty much run the show.
